Any physical contact out of anger constitutes an attack/assault in Texas. All due respect, would you have just let someone put their hands on you like that? And no, I was no joking when I said “preserve your life”. If that “shove in the chest” happen to be accompanied by a knife would it have been more or less of an attack? Someone comes at you in an aggressive manner, are you going to look at what they are attacking you with or are you going to respond to preserve your life? I’ve been clocked twice square in the face by two different people(didn’t know either…both sucker bunches, that didn’t really even apply to the situation)… both times I restrained them while I was full of rage… but I had enough self control not to hit them or beat the shit out of them. Just let them go, shook their hand and walked away.
by the rule of law was this guy in the wrong of course not… did he overreact to a shove in his chest, in my opinion… definitely.

I think saying he overreacted is will be determined by each individual personally. After somebody has repeatedly threatened to harm me and they put their hands on me in no way did the old man overreact. Once the guy was down did he continue to hit him, no, so he was right in law and in my mind in choice of reaction.

Old guy was right he was sitting walked away and sat down the POS went to him and touched him. It doesnt matter how hard but let me say this when one man touches another hed better be ready for a beating. I know guys who would have done a lot worse. The POS got off easy if you ask me
The old man clearly asks how much to get his shoes shined, because he has a funeral to go to. The old man was obviously at the front of the bus and when the black guy walked by him, the old guy thought he said some thing about shining shoes for money. I believe the shoe shining comments to be honest attempts at purchasing a service he thought the guy offered as he walked by him. Notice the old man ask well what did you say when you walked by me. Because he thought the guy offered the service to him as he entered the bus and walked to the back. Then the black guy tried to be tuff, the old guy was in reality tuffer then the black guy. The old guy was shocked as fuck when the black guy got hostile even asking him why he was getting so hostile.
Old man= crazy but lovable mental dude
Black guy= every bad stereotype about blacks
And I am not the greatest judge of age but I am pretty sure the black guy ain’t fifty he was just being a smart ass.

I think the key to Rblue’s post is that the old man lied. He never got punched in the face yet he used it as justification for the fight. It really doesn’t matter who said what fist. Both guys were complete douche bags.
I know “man law” is great and everything, but we also have actual law. In my opinion, the old man stopped right before the point of turning self-defense into aggravated assault.
The pos in the first vid was clearly just trying to act tough. And got his ass beat, as he deserved. I can in no way see how the old mans reaction can be considered an overreaction. If he just swings once, do you think the pos would stop? Thats what a fight between men is. The pos is probably the kind of pos that just tries to provoke random people every single day of his pos life because it makes him feel tough, and his pos video girl clearly is cut from the same cloth. Everyone has been exposed to these pos. They roam malls and foodcourts and ride public transit all day. They enjoy making complete strangers feel uncomfortable by being agressive, physically and verbally, because it gives them some fucked up sense of power. Whenever they feel someone is weaker then them or vulnerable they will go on the offensive. These pos are just menaces to society and every single one of these videos made me lol.
Its impossible to say what started the whole situation. Its not in the video and how many people in this thread were on that bus??? Regardless, at some point, epic beard man tried to remove himself from the situation. He didnt do so in the same regard most people would, he continued the verbal exchange, but the pos CLEARLY made a decision to continue this. Throughout the whole video he continues to try and stand over ebm, invading his space. To any human this is percieved as a physical threat and an attempt to be the dominate party. Said pos had no way of knowing ebm was an alpha dog, a real bad mother fucker, and paid for it.
