My sis wants to try the old stuff before trying the Extreme, and found some on eBay (72 caps, exp 12/09) for $5.99. I told her that sounds very fishy, but the seller has insane amounts of + feedback.
Anyone have any insight here? It seems too good to be true, and I’m wise enough to know what that means. Without getting into specifics, can any insiders tell me if it’s possible for this seller to have bought it that low? Maybe it’s a stolen shipment…
I’ve bought it from ebay before. The 110 count size for 9.99. So, yeah, 5.99 for 72 sounds right. I don’t know who the seller is, but if the first three letters are “icu”, his negative feedback is huge too. Including the one I left him.
I buy the HRX from there for cheaper than I get on here too. Sorry guys.
I do not know about the value going down THAT much, but it is not unlikely for the value to go down on old supplements.
It is like the used car market. Once the car leaves the dealership it drops in value immediately because of the number of lemons in the used car market. People are only willing to gamble so much on a car, even if it is seemingly brand new.
Buying supplements on ebay is like buying a used car. Plus, the nearer the expiration day, the more skeptical people are going to be. Not to mention there is a new improved version out, lessening the value of the old version for anyone that is aware of the efficacy of the new.
