i was browsing online and came upon MD6 by Biotest
anyone used it before?
Are other websites still selling this product? It seems weird to me that the T-Nation store would not have them but other sites would. Maybe because HOT-ROX is a lot more efficient. Apparently it was a norephedrine based fat burner but was discontinued due to the FDA. Then it became an ephedra based fat burner until the FDA came down upon that (Thats what I’ve read).
Looking at the ingredients, it looks like a simplified version of HOT-ROX.
Most likely he found it on ebay, there is always quite a few Biotest products on there that are no longer being made.

Biotest has a new formulation of MD6 out that isn’t sold here. Most the larger online retailers have it. I think I saw it the last time I was in GNC as well.

Yep, it’s a different formulation. It’s been available for a while now.
The original MD6 kicked ass though.

One of the ingredients of the original MD6 was banned. They re-released it with a slightly different formulation, but it just wasn’t the same and they stopped making it. Eventually HOT-ROX was released. At least that’s how I remember it. Someone can correct me if I’m off on the details.
As far as the new MD6, I’m pretty sure someone from Biotest posted why it wasn’t available here, but I can’t remember all the reasons. The stuff you can buy here is better. I’m pretty sure that’s one of them.
I know this is an old post, but I have found a place online that is selling this for $15 a bottle. It expired on 7/2008, so I assumed this is the old formulation, but the site has a picture of the new Biotest blue bottles. Maybe they just need a stock photo. Anyways here are the ingredients:
MD6 Formula: 475mg (Biotest GBX [guarana-berry extract (containing theophylline and caffeine)], p-methylcarbonylethylphenol, natural caffeine, yohimbine HCI, PEP2 [piperine, cayenne-pepper extract])
My question is A: how did the old MD6 compare to HOT-ROX?
and B: Is it worth $15 a bottle?
