I think three days of supervising girls tennis wore me out. I was dragging ass today. I would normally throw in some zechers, but it just was not happening.
On the tennis side, my daughter is pretty good. She’s the #1 player on her team and probably #2 in her league. She’s not, however, a superstar. As the top player on the team, she plays the best players on the other teams. This past week she played probably the top two players in the state. She lost both times, but I am proud to say they worked for it. The second girl got pretty pissed at one point.
I told my daughter going against top players like that will only make her better. The trip was a lot of fun, but it’s left me wore out.
Bench Against Band:

It’s my hope all the band work will increase strength and fix the lagging I have in my left shoulder. 375 against the band felt like a ton, when I took it off the rack, I let out a loud “F-bomb” and it went down and up.

Even though I love watching my daughter play tennis, I will be kinda glad when the season is over. Between work and tennis, my training has been all over the map.
Districts start in a couple of weeks and it looks like she will be the #3 seed out of 16.
Do you play tennis?
Seems like a great sport to do together.
I don’t play ( definitely a minor regret) , my kids don’t either. Looks like fun and doable as a family sport.
I’ve tried, but I really suck. We started our daughter when she was little. It’s been a lot of fun to watch lessons and matches. I’ve tried to help her practice, but I’m really no good at all. I may take it up at some point. I see a lot of older people playing.

I was too loose on 375. The second rep was a disaster, and I got hung up half way up. I’ll just repeat this next week to nail it. In addition I may add boards. My son and I are going to a meet mid July.
