Mine only come to me for money…hahaha…awesome stuff Crippler. Solid work going on in here as always. Good luck to your son and daughter…
Can’t ever beat that.
Don’t get me wrong, they still ask for money.
Both mine now make more than I do so I’m okay there but I think sometimes they ask for advice just to know what not to do.

I missed all week due to out of town training for work. The training location was 90 miles from my house. I was offered a hotel for the week, but I passed so I can be home each night. I have a work car, so its not my gas anyway. Plus I have a bunch more out town stuff coming up the rest of the year.

I still had my squat workout in my pocket on the off chance the rack was open. Clearly it was not yet again.
Well, there’s always 900 x 10. 495 is a pain for me.
The 900 x 10 is very impressive. With all that volume they’d have to carry me out.
Well I would much rather be doing squats. Clearly I can only do about half that much. Of course morning there was no one within 50 yards of the squat rack.

Things are a little uncertain this weekend. We are doing a service project at church Saturday. That night there is a large “gala” we have been invited to. My daughter’s best friend’s father is one of our famous personal injury lawyers. He paid big money for the table, and has invited us the last two years.
Depending on how I feel a deload weekend may be in order. I plan on training, but at different times. If I am dragging, I’ll train lighter.
Personal injury lawyers are a hoot to be around. Will be fun.
He’s a pretty good guy. Our daughters have been friends since kindergarten. I think it’s funny though. I just got a public disclosure request from his firm at work. One of his clients hit one of our vans. I’m sure the client knows local government almost always settles, so they are fishing.

We finished our service project mid-afternoon. We had about 400 volunteers from our church spread out across the city. We gave free oil changes to single moms, provided free laundry services at laundry mats, had a kids carnival at a local school, and helped landscape another church. Our group did a laundry mat. I was shocked at how expensive they have become.
I got home, took a nap and hit the gym for a light deload. Now onto the St Patrick’s Day event at my daughter’s school.
While at they gym I ran into a young guy there who is special needs. He’s in his twenties and is really strong. For some reason I have become his hero. When I walked in, it was like The Rock showed up. Of course he said it would be an honor if I spotted him. He’s a great kid, but he tends to follow me around. I’m just glad I was not planning on anything special today.
Admirable community service. When I run into those less fortunate than I because of an mental or physical problem beyond their control I always remember, “there but for the grace of God go I”.
There is a lot of truth to that. There are a lot of really poor people in our town, so it was nice.

Sundays are normally deadlift days. We were out really late last night. Plus there was the time change. I did not want to waste a DL day, if I was not 100%. Continuing the deload theme, I did my monthly “strongman” day. I figure it is less impact.

Things have been really busy, so it was nice to get in the gym this morning. I have been trying to clean up my diet, but yesterday was no help. One of my officers and I drove across state to attend a regional computer system meeting. It was held at a casino. My officer is a pretty large man, who loves to eat. He insisted on the buffet. It was awesome, but I paid for it.
3/16/18
Face Pulls:

That was a fast one. It was under 45 minutes. I took two days off work for my business. I am teaching drug impairment recognition to educators from a local school district.
Good consistency what’s making you stronger in your 40s than when in your 20s.
