I really was not feeling it at first, but things picked up as I moved a long.
Yesterday I went to my new work and picked up my keys to the building and my new office. Since I’m a “somebody” now I was old my office key works for everyone’s office as well. Ah the power! Everyone seems real nice and the area is pretty quite. I’ll have seven supervisors and three clerks working under me.
About time. You’re worth it. Give them strong handshakes all around.

That’s all for today. I work my last 12 hour nightshift tonight. I normally do not like to DL on a work night, but I had no choice today. I have a busy week coming up.
Deadlifts were pretty fast. In fact, I was done pulling after only 40 minutes. That might have been a new record.
Perhaps one arm handstand pushups are a bit much. Bet you could find an equally strong workout partner at the new job; but as the head guy choose wisely. I’ve known some really strong guys who did that kind of work, and now you’re one of them. .
We’ll see. I’ll be working in the administrative building. Most of the people in my office are administrative types and older ladies. I’ll have to walk around inside the facility at the start, so I know what it is they do. There is one guy I know who works there, and he goes to my gym. He’s pretty jacked.

I worked my final night shift last night. I got off “early” at 0100 and was in the gym by 0800. I was a little sleepy, but I got it done.
I have a busy week coming up. I teach my class at the university tonight. I have been contracted by a local school district to teach a class to educators tomorrow. I work my final shift at work Wednesday. Then I will be “retired” until Monday. I was forced to work one day this month to keep my insurance. Management at DOC are Teamsters and there is a two month back log for Teamsters health insurance to start. By working one day in November I can keep my insurance. I’ll have to go on my wife’s plan in December, before I am covered in January.
How dare you…I’m at least ONE of those two things.
Ha, present company is not included. Especially since I have now become one of those as well.

I might also add the new guy at the gym and I have been doing this dance for two weeks now. It continued this morning. It’s like two bulls circling. He’s pretty strong and at least 15 years younger. I think we are probably equals though. He just does not realize the 7:00 AM time frame belongs to me.
Everybody experiences that at one time or another in the gym. I kind of enjoyed it.
