I worked the legs pretty hard today.

I saw a guy today learn the hard way not to screw around with pendulum squats. He loaded two 35-pound plates on. He tried to squat and went right to the bottom and couldn’t get up again.

Number one reason to always take the new piece of workout equipment through the paces with no weight on it. :joy:

Yeah, it’s crazy. I’d say to do a couple of sets with no weight to get started. It certainly hits the legs in a different way.

Thanks gents. I’m going to test things this weekend and then two weeks of rest. I feel like I’m coming down with a cold, so I’m loading up on supplements to avoid it.

335 was not as strong as I would have liked. For now, I’ll blame it on the elbow and being sick. I have two weeks to go.

I normally don’t do energy drinks or pre-workout, other than coffee. Yesterday I was at GNC and saw an energy drink called Gorilla Mind. I was sold with the gorilla on the can. The kid in the store said it was good. I purchased it and had it before my workout. I really liked it. I may buy another can for the contest. I tend to avoid those things, because I worry about my heart exploding.
