The moment arm on those things is insane. Doesn’t take much weight to make them hard.
Yep, I’m not sure I understand why yet, but it’s pretty hard.

That’s it. Everything else I wanted to do was being taken up by people who were not moving. I tried my best to creep them out, but it didn’t work.
Creep them out. Tales from the gym.
Tales from the gym is right…
Seen the Pendulum on some Mike Istraetel/ RP strength vids- looks pretty cool.
Even I can only stare at someone so long.
Yeah, it’s pretty crazy. I didn’t think I would like it, but it’s going to stay in my routine.

I wanted five for 320 but I only had gas for three. I completed four and five with some help from my spotter.
The young man who I befriended was also benching today. He asks questions, which is nice. Today he did several sets and then asked me about form. I showed him how to set up and complete a proper press. He them maxed 20 more pounds than he ever has. He was super excited. I told him if he was fresh, he had another 20 in him. He said he’s doing to try again in two days. I warned him to give himself a break, but he said he’s only 19 and can handle it. I may have created a monster.
Good set of bench!
Thank you

The place was packed. I had to use all machines, which caused me to get in and get out.
Good for you. Keeps you young and him stronger.
Yep. He’s a great kid. Plus he told me his family owns an Indian food restaurant. He said he works there every day and invited me to come and eat.

Pumps are good. Not as magical as the Austrian claims they are, but they are good!
Correct. I would never go that far.

I went light today and did CT Fletcher’s bench marathon. I’ll deload next week. My son took an attorney job in Arizona and I’m helping him move. Of course there will be a stopover in Vegas. After I get back, I will start meet prep.
