“In the garage tonight. I had a Zoom to attend, so I killed two birds with one stone.”
Please tell me, that you shrugged and curled your way through the call…
I wasn’t that guy this time. I turned the camera off.

I kinda felt old today. There was a group of young guys banging out some deadlifts. They looked like guys I used to hang out with back in the day. Now, I’m one of the oldest guys in the place. Then as I leave, I hold the door open for the guy behind me. He then gives me the “thank you sir.” Oh well, we’ll all keep working it.
That “sir” thing really rattles me. A 50 something gym beast said that to me early yesterday morning. He guessed I was about 55 a few months ago so I mentioned my age and he stopped complaining about his age.
I must admit, I do it too. I was raised that way. I just don’t want “sir” at the gym.

My lower back and left knee have been giving me fits, but I was not going to miss Weighed Walk Wednesday. I skipped sandbag shoulder carries and went a little lighter on the prowler. Still, it feels like I did something.

Happy Fathers’ Day to the T-Nation dads. I’ve been wanting new ink for a while, so I had my kid’s initials tattooed on my left bicep. That way I can always keep them with me. It looks really good, and I’m pretty proud of it.
Happy Father’s day!
Thank you!

It’s always nice when one of the young guys at work jumps on the seated pulls after you had has to drop half the weight.
I’d settle for 1/3.

Today should have been deload, but since I’m going Vegas again next weekend I did 5/5/5 and will use next week as a deload.
I have bad habit of closing my eyes during bench. Today, 305 felt way too each. I opened my eyes to make sure my spotter was not helping me. It was all me and his hands were nowhere near the bar. I feel like I could have cranked out two or three more. I have been stopping at the top rep, because I am doing work after.

Not bad for really not wanting to be there. I woke up with a slight headache but pushed through. The next thing knew, two hours had passed.
720 on the belt squat equals my high. I still have a goal of one day hitting 1000.
