Interesting morning. A group of crossfitters took over the rack area. I don’t have anything against the activity, but when five guys and their wives take over an entire corner of the gym, I have an issue. They were doing their crazy stuff and filming each other, as I’m trying to pull. I think they got where I was coming from, from my glares.
The final set of V-Squats was supposed to be 20 reps. I felt a slight pop in my right knee on the 12th rep, so I called it good. Not too long ago, I would have been stupid and pushed through it. It’s more than likely some cartilage, which I’ve popped numerous times. Still, it’s my “good” knee, so no use messing it up.
you’ve probably said but where to you push you prowler? I’ve thought about taking my sled to the local HS and pushing it on the turf but legit too lazy. I push mine normally on the road which is kind of a pain after then patched the cracks with tar, it catches all the time.
I’m lucky. My driveway is right at 100 yards. It leads to a private road that we share with three neighbors. The private road is a little longer, to the public roadway. I just push back and forth on the driveway. I’ve never tried the private road, because it’s a little more tore up.
I was dragging ass this morning and had zero strength. I was supposed to do two reps at 335, but one was a struggle. Last week it flew up like it was nothing.
I noticed my right knee is still a little off. I could feel it as I pushed. I am doing deads tomorrow, but I wear sleeves. I should have worn them today.
Second subpar session in a row. I was unable to hit my reps for any of the upper weights. I guess I should not be too disappointed, I’ve been cruising along for a while.
I nailed 335 for two today. The second rep was much better than the first. It was really strong. The guy I had spot me is an “older guy” too. I told him the first rep sucked. He said, “Who cares, your badass. We see it every weekend.” I thought that was pretty cool.
