The garage was a little cold, but that worked up a sweat. This was the first time I have pulled with the new bar and I love it. It makes a world of difference having good equipment.
That is an incredible circuit…I will not be doing that!! with 60 sec rest…awesome
Yep. I was puffing.

Weighted Walk Monday continues to be my favorite workout. This was the second week at 170. I’m just trying to push it a little harder each week. My goal is to be at 200 pounds by April.
That goal is about right. Good work so far.

So I suffered my first major lifting injury. My tooth. I lost my right upper front tooth. The dentist said it was from years of abuse. Football, wrestling, lifting, law enforcement and whatever else I might have done over the last almost 50 years. My tooth died and broke off a couple of weeks ago. I start the process of getting an implant tomorrow. Until then I have a tooth looking thing in my retainer, so it looks like I have a full set of teeth. I’m not a big fan of the dentist, so I am dreading tomorrow.
“Major lifting injury”
You’re blessed, and smart, to have been doing consistently heavy, injury free workouts all those years.
My sympathetic laughter finally stopped.
That’s nuts-with all that Life, to have no Major stuff?
Blessed indeed.
Take advantage of pain killers and long naps (experience talking here).
Thanks guys. We Facetime with the kids twice a week and we are going to visit both next weekend. My daughter is very proper. I already threatened her that I am going to walk around without my tooth.
I just hope it gets me some street cred.
I had the post put in yesterday for the implant, and it was not too bad. No exercise for a week. I was also shut down from my Friday after work cigar. I tried my best for both. They recommended that I do not work the next day, but I had some important stuff to do in the morning.
My bones are really good, so he moved my healing period up from six months to four. I’ll just wear the fake tooth in my retainer for the next four months. I guess I also get a deload this week.
I thought one just had post + tooth put in at same time. I’ve been considering one where it isn’t noticeable.
My guy said he’s old school and waits to put in the tooth. It wasn’t too bad until he broke out the Dewalt drill and went to town.
