Not bad. I was back at the gym. Little by little I am seeing more people there. Today were some hall of famers, who I have not seen since March.

I look forward to Weighted Walk Monday. I went right to the sandbag today. I do think I need to add some weight. I really feel the bearhug is probably the hardest. I really feel it in the arms and quads.
I told my wife when I came in, I’m just here to entertain the neighbors. Two of them got an eyeful. I’m pretty sure they think I’m a nut job.
Well, we don’t.

Yes, it’s true. I watch too many CT Fletcher videos on YouTube. Gotta blast those arms!
My neighbors have watched me throw all kinds of things in my back yard for years and many times wearing a kilt. They know I’m a nut job.
Maybe add some weighted dips, maybe even some chins, on arm day? Arms really respond to those…even with that consistent arm workout you’re doing.
And, they wouldn’t mess up your cut and paste arm posts too much.

I couldn’t believe how light and easy everything was. I honestly feel training by myself in the garage made me stronger. I feel like I could have cranked out three or four reps at 365. Again, the gym’s bench is easier to bench on than mine, due to being lower. I feel like I get a better leg drive and I am in better position.

Sweet Power Shrugs Bro; love those things, they always jack up my arms/traps ect.

I agree. As much as I have missed my gym buddies, I think the garage has made me stronger. The sandbag work is crazy.

I didn’t really feel it going on today. The shoulder carries, however, were the furthest I have gone. Normally I work in more bearhugs and farmers’, but I really didn’t feel it.
On a side note, I often think about my dad and uncle when doing sandbag work. I worked with both of them a lot growing up on the farm. Those guys were crazy strong. They would throw bales of hay like they were nothing.

hen they build one of my houses in the Philippines they had to carry the cinder blocks, bags of cement rebar up the hill to my property. They did this all day, 3 blocks at a time, stopping only for lunch. I could out lift these guys no problem but wouldn’t have last more than a few trips. Good thing they were all relatives so I got free labor.Great workout. Ditto on sandbag work being crazy.
I’m considering trying the “Crippler chains around neck” for outdoor exercises. Got a macho neighbor.
I finally got to Lowes and purchased another 50 pounds of sand. The wife got a new fridge and I got a bag of sand.

Another arm night. The extra 50 pounds in the sandbag is a big difference. I am wondering what Monday will be like.
and Steve got a rock.
