Good to read the air’s improved there.
It was perfect for a week or two. Our fires are under control here. We’re now getting California smoke.

This was my first bench press workout in the gym since March. It felt pretty good. The benches at the gym are shorter than mine at home. In fact I have to put 2x4s under my feet at home. With the shorter bench I was able to get a better leg drive. It felt much easier.
It was nice to see some of my crew, who I have not seen since March. I had a couple people tell me I looked bigger, and I have not missed a beat. It was kind of nice. The biggest reason for me going to the commercial gym is the friendships I have developed going to the same place for 18 years.
I can’t wait to get back in the gym and use their benches. My home one is a little narrow and slippery as heck. Not great for a good bench.
It makes a difference. I like mine, it’s just too high. I’m not that short either (6 feet tall).

Less walking today, with more weight. The 65 was harder than I planned. I have a long driveway that connects to a private road, which connects to the main road. I walked 500 steps to the main road, and wondered what I was thinking.
I must have done something right (or wrong) with the sandbag. I was a little unsteady on my feet when I dropped it.
Don’t you just hate it when you drop one. I’ve found unsteady on feet feeling usually precedes an unplanned sandbag drop.
Funny. I’m sure you weren’t the only one (neighbors watching)…
But seriously, how heavy are your sand bags??
Three of us share the private road. One of my neighbors (Ron) was outside working on something. He did give me couple of strange looks.
I have a 150 pound bag. Right now, however, I only have 100 pounds in it. I think I am going to fill it up in a week or two, now that I have learned to use it.

I got a late start tonight. I had to run by my parents house. Mom had some chores for me. Plus she fed me, so I was pretty full.
Are you trying for the worlds biggest arms?geepers thats a shit ton of work !
Moms are the Best!
The worst part was, I didn’t want to piss my wife off when I got home, so I had to eat again.
Good thing you lift weights.
“…had to eat again”. Bummer.
The bag sounds great, I’m joining you all soon; the
heavy carry crowd.
'Did you already eat?"
“No, dear” [fingers crossed]
Been there.
