Maybe you needed those doubts though, to help you fully understand how important she is to you, you know? Sometimes the bad is meant for the good even when it looks really bad. Like, insane people. It took me a good 15yrs before my feelings for my 1st love finally went away. I hated having feelings for him. He got married, had kids. Me, I traveled and married my career.
I think I finally came to grips with the reality of the feelings, which was, I was missing the memories of the relationship and not necessarily the person.
So sorry to hear about your pain. Just dont let it mess up your marriage. Sounds like both women in your life are lucky to have you care deeply for them.

Sounds like torture to me. Thinking about someone you will never be with and knowing that those feelings will and do have a negative impact on your current wife and family. Sounds like infatuation, not love.
