I wasn’t hating on coffee drinkers, moreso the crowd who order the drinks with lots of cream in them but stay away from the likes of burgers, hotdogs etc because “its too fatty”.

Heavy cream (that I measure) + Starbucks Americano FTW
Tired of arguing with people who believe slim fast and Weight Watchers “works”. Jenifer Hudson did it! Yeah, like this Grammy award winner doesn’t have a meal plan, personal chef and trainer at her whim. Surely she eats 100 calorie snack packs all the time…
Like the cardio bunnies on the treadmill and the dudes just like them. Yah! I lost 20Lbs, never-mind I just atrophied all my leg muscle.

Good post. The kind of smugness being displayed in this thread makes me want to fucking headbutt people.[/quote]

Kind of related:
With the influx of italian migrants into the US, it surprises me that your coffee appreciation/knowledge is so poor.
In Australia, starbucks went broke, because the coffee was so terrible that nobody wanted to go there.
" Then eh went on with the "you know if I had the time, etc…I could look like that too). Now, he was working very part time and I have a more than full time job and two kids. "
I think this one bothers me more than any of them…along with "I used to be able to…pick one.
A. Bench 300
B. Run a 5 min. mile
C. Do pullups ‘all day long’
I work with this one guy who is around 400 lbs and the consummate food snob. Buys his meat from some place like Omaha steaks and crows about how bad regular store meat is bad for you. He also takes every mail order vitamin under the sun, drinks only ice water since it burns more calories. I give him another 15 years on this planet.

Maybe someone should ask Colucci about coffee?

It’s not about the coffee, it’s about sending a message.
All Joker quotes aside, people don’t care about the quality of the coffee that go to Starbucks, they care about the brand, the image. Plus, where else would you type your screenplay if not in a Starbucks, at home?

Nope, I know he bought a soloflex (better than nothin…) but he’s talking about selling it.

She Say and I go there like three times a year and always order ‘just plain coffee’…The Barristas look at us like we’re crazy or loosers and repeat our order 2 or 3 times.

I don’t think I’m the only one here that would encourage to start another thread titled just that! You’ve obviously sparked some great conversation :-))
