I have nothing against younger men. I take each person on their own merits. Iâm not attracted to someone because of their age. To be fair however, when I was young, I though I was pretty stellar because I was young.

I think I need to do fewer reps and heavier weights.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I am stuck in thinking 10 or 8 of everything and 3 or 4 sets
I have been working on my shoulders and I am pretty happy as they used to be very weak. I had an AC seperation on my right shoulder last year that hurt like a sumbitch, but luckily seems to have recovered nicely.
tomorrow is my off day, but I am probably going to the driving range, or playing tennis if it doesnât rain.

Look at Mark Rippetoeâs Starting Strength program, itâs your basic 5x5.
Oh yeah, stop avoiding the squat rack. Youâre balance wonât improve if you donât practice. So what if you fall on your ass a few times. Maybe some fine looking dude will offer to spot your squat. Then you can fall backwards on purpose.

instead of doing 3 sets of 8, up the poundage and do 8 sets of 3. you will frighten the young weaklings, and attract us more mature fellas who appreciate (worship) strength. if you dont like that idea, it will also make you stronger.
