Headhunter, holy God, how many times do you need to say you hate soccer? I said this to helga, and I’m saying it to you, SHUT UP, if you wanna say how much you hate soccer, say it once, we don’t need a dozen fucking posts about it and seven threads. We understand you don’t like soccer or anything associated with it, why do you feel the need to keep saying it?

Um…because its a pussy sport polluting a T-man (or T-vixen) web site?

A far better investment of your time:

Now, play real sports, help with the above, and become MEN, goddammit!!

HH

The irony of a tae kwon do practioner slating another sport for being pussy is just hilarious.

You don’t like football, fine, don’t watch it. You can rest assured that I won’t be watching any tae kwon do any time soon.

Now how about you fuck off you foolish old c*nt.

My picks for the semis:

Argentina vs Italy

England vs Brazil

shit, he’s practices the lethal art of TKD?? Well we best not mess, or else he may dance around with his fists at waist height before delivering a deadly axe kick to the space an inch in front of your face.
I am amazed by the muscular development of the quadriceps of some of these soccer players. They have bigger thighs then tom platz.
The female soccer fans are so great looking too. wow.

I have an uncle that loves TKD. He also likes to take dick from shemales.

Forza Italia!!!

3-0 and moving on! Watch out Germany!

It?s done!!!
It was all us after the first goal. The gauchos were in control of the ball most of the time but had just one real chance to score and the goal was a corner kick, so great defense on our side again. Metzelder and Mertesacker are really playing great together right now. I am pretty confident we will destroy Italy and make it to the final once again! We are by far the team with the biggest heart in this tournament.
I believe!!!

A couple of comments about today’s action:

 1. To Argentine Coach Pekerman: Where the hell was Messi? Saviola? To have your four best players on the bench when you went into the penalty phase is unforgiveable. Cruz instead of Messi? What he fuck was he thinking? What a pussy.

Klinsmann owned his ass today. All his substitutions played a part in the equalizer.

 1. Did you see the psych job Lehmann did on Cambiasso before his kick - he totally stared him down while jumping up and down - fucking brilliant.

You should know by now that if you go into the penalty phase against the Germans, you’re done. Germans are some ice-cold mofos. They would have slotted 50 in a row against that goalie.

 1. Is anyone surprised by the beatdown the Italians put on the Ukranians. Italy-Germany should be choice. But no one is stopping the Germans.

Tomorrow should be an epic day of matches.

You are my new hero. Single best line on T-Nation!

Can’t argue with that, and as an Arsenal fa, well done Mad Jens. A match you play in just wouldn’t be the same unless you ran twent yyards to push someone over or screamed in the opposition’s face!

Well done. You deserved it. Already having stress attacks over the England match. COME ON BOYS!!! Fuck that walrus-faced scolari, that David Copperfield-looking Figo and that pretty boy diving red-scum Ronaldo!

Tom Platz? Now you’re exaggerating.

However, Roberto Carlos does have some tree trunks for wheels.

on this, we can all agree !!

Saw the last 20 minutes of Italy-Ukraine. Seeing Ukraine play so badly and get walloped by Italy makes that ref decision for the penalty on Monday hurt even more, should be Australia-Germany in the semis, not the bloody Azzuri!!!

In case you haven’t guessed we are still sulking down here in Oz, those of us who appreciate soccer that is!!

Saturday prayer:

“Dear Lord, please bless Sven with sufficient wisdom not to fuck things up for what is possibly the greatest England side ever assembled since 1966. Amen”.

Amen. Let me tell you, I was so nervous the whole game, it was physically painfull.
As for the England game:
See you in the FINAL!!!

Its got it all set up now for a Germany v England final, we just have to beat the dirty cheating Portuguese today, which I’m pretty confident we will do.

All it takes then is us to beat the poor defence of the Brazilians in the semi… No problemo

Thank you, Jens Lehmann. You rock.
since my favourite teams all exited early (and I knew that will happen as they’re not too good), i’m now rooting for germany, but only out of my love for klinsmann. i want the germans to win for the sake of klinsmann, who i heard germans were unhappy about him before the tournament. how the hell is that possible? that guy was the best player in 98.

lehmann rocks by the way, if only i could find a pic of his save in the match, where he had to save the ball from behind another player.

I have ?50 on lampard to score first and England to win 1-0

I think the game will be real tight but Franky will get a penalty (Ihope so anyway its 30-1!)

I think one reason why Germany won last night was their fitness. I’m surprised that on THIS site that it hasn’t been mentioned yet. They had relatively little ball possession, did not play really that well, but fought to the end and were focussed during the PK’s.

I am not really sure how big his role is or was, but Klinsmann hired an American, Mark Verstegen, to do at least part of their fitness program. Anybody know anything about that? It was a bit of a scandal in Deutschland that a German coach living in the States used an American to get the German boys ready for the World Cup.

Amen. Plus I’ll let Sven shag my sister if we win and she’s better looking than Nancy D’lolio.

In the build up Klinsman was saying ‘other teams might have more skill than us, but NO-ONE is going to be fitter than us’. Seems to be paying off.

I also think this is one part of the success.
Football training did not change a lot the last 20 years. Now Verstegen has them lift weights and follow customized nutrition programms. They are working with him for over a year now. Every now and than he flew over to check on the progress players made and to set them up with new programms. They had to fullfill certain standards to stay in the team, like a certain amount of pullups etc.

True.

Klinsmann employed many new training strategies, and most of them were too progressive and modern for some to grasp.

For example, his cardio plan was so hand-tailored to the point that most of the media laughed about his remark: “I know the boys have tired legs (after the last testmatch) but right now they’re not supposed to be fresh. Overcompensation will happen in three days.”

I guess they all stopped laughing now.

I know this thread is packed with English fans and I applaud you for your undying support to the squad so I will say this in the nicest way possible…Wayne Rooney is a fucking moron. I mean what the fuck is this kid thinking about? If he watched the Holland - Portugal game he would know the Portugese are diving all over the place and should get an oscar for their theatrics.

The refs in this WC have been a joke to say the least but this idiot steps on the guys nuts in front of the ref and then pushes another player out of the way right in front of the ref. How stupid do you need to be? What did you expect the ref to do but to red card him? If England loses, blame his dumb ass.

Here is a reality check, this is some of the ugliest boring soccer I have ever seen! Rooney hasnt touched a ball right in any game, yeah he runs around a lot but he cries every other second. Beckam is a pussy and just not that good of a player.

He is great at free kicks but thats about it. How can you allow a minor injury to take you off the field in a quarterfinal of a world cup? Or was he hiding the fact he was taken off for poor performance. The sad part is that if it wasnt for him, u guys wouldnt be where you are. Crouch looks like a big slinkie and just looks akward if the ball is anywhere but on his head. Lampard an Gerrard have like 30 shots between them and only 12 on goal, I mean come on!!

I have great respect for English soccer and its fans but this is seriously dissappointing. How can you have such a great bunch of soccer players and give such a poor performance? I expected a whole lot more. I am still rooting for them to win and kick out the Portugese, but this is flat out ugly.
