Looking good

The grey and white boxer briefs coupled with the bright, front-facing florescent lighting don’t leave much to the imagination.

That’s a weight of 150.4 lbs? You look fairly tall to be looking that big and lean, especially since your legs are pretty darn thick.

I’m fairly short. 5’7". Also, I just have a small skeleton. haha.

I’ve been as big as 195 and as small as 115 (as an adult). I’m not thrilled about weighing as little as I do, but I’ve come to terms with it. I doubt I’ll be able to get much heavier than 160-ish at a similar level of leanness, so it is what it is. I don’t look completely DYEL in a t-shirt and look decent with my shirt off, which given my small frame is probably about as good as I can hope for right now.

Sick work, guys.

I have to admit, I’m kinda feeling like this right now…

(Like the guy on the left, I mean)

Lol, exactly how I feel… I’m down 20 pounds and I look the freakin same in pictures! My pants are falling down, though. Oh well, I’ve got another 15 pounds to lose to hit my 2017 goal. If that doesn’t change my appear then I hear curling is a fun sport to take up.

Are you taking pics from different angles (front/side/back)? I had a weird thing where I sometimes wasn’t seeing much front-on, but from the side it was more noticeable.

The fake powerlifting one or the ice-sweeping one? Either way, valid option.

Just front and back really. I think you can see a little bit in the love handle area, but not much. I’ll have to try a side shot. I should have at least one for comparison.

Lol, was thinking the ice-sweeping one.

I’ve got the same problem…

I was giving this thread a once over and there are a handful of guys that said they were in back in January and don’t seem to have posted again. Maybe they’re all planning to pop back up at the end of the week? I figure it’s only fair to wait at least until Friday for the public shaming/reminders.

Would be a bummer if they just flaked out after a few weeks. For sure it’s been tough, but it’s been worth going through it start to finish.

Ya, I know I’ve learned a ton about what works and what doesn’t work for me as far as fat loss goes.

I’m afraid I delayed starting this until far too late, so I haven’t made nearly the progress I could have. Sorry about that guys. I’ve lost 8lbs, but I’ve gained 35lbs on my deadlift and gone from struggling to run 1.5miles to doing a 10k in 62 minutes, so this has been a great training block for me.

Well, six months later and I look generally the same. Got very marginally leaner and added a small bit of muscle in the shoulders and traps. I’ll post pictures on the deadline to at least come out with a little dignity lol.

Performance wise, the last six months have been slightly more productive. I’ve been training to prepare for my department’s special rescue squad and have recently stepped back on to the rugby pitch after a three year hiatus. First practice back I scored a try, so at least I know that I may have gotten fat, but at least I can still ball lol. That being said, my work capacity and conditioning have gone threw the roof compared to what I was at.

All my main lifts(squat bench dead press) have gone up 15-30 pounds from where I started. I’m closing in on a 3 plate front squat and I finally hit a two plate push press today. also turned my bench 1RM into my 3rm.

TL;DR didn’t achieve what I was trying to achieve at all physique wise, nominal improvement in performance

Look the same here also… surprise! No, no it isn’t. Been like three freakingbyears now. Grrrrrr!!! So, I am out!

Alright since @Chris_Colucci called me out. Went from 220 to 225. Gained strength and stayed consistent with training. Diet was on point often, but not nearly often enough. It only takes one meal to kill a week’s deficit.

Apologize for the posing, but I wasn’t trying that ā€œrelaxedā€ nonsense again. Side shot to show gut and moobage left, probably 30% still. Long way to go but I’ll get there.
