Alright, Iām done. Was gonna post my pics next week, but realistically, I wonāt look any different. Iām still fat, no doubt about that, but I feel Iām maybe a little less fat. Iāve actually really enjoyed this challenge - I have found a foods that work for me, and made some great habits.
Ok, so my original goal was 180, and I didnāt make it. Started at 215 on a light day, and am sitting around 198 at the moment. My original goal is still 180, but I want to reach it slowly, so Iām aiming on slowly whittling down the weight to be 180 by the years end.
Strength wise, I have got way stronger, and my running has got better too. Started out not being able to run a mile, and I just ran one in 7:19. Not great, but Iāll be at my goal of a 6:30 mile very soon.
I donāt look ANY different, which is disappointing, but I actually did learn a lot so itās not a complete disaster.
In just 6 MONTHS, jboy99 lost his tan!
Aaand a pic of the stuff that is slightly not so DYELā¦
EDIT: I forgot to mention, congrats to everyone that did this, there has been some AWESOME transformations!!
Nice work man! You can definitely tell you lost weight, and 17lbs is nothing short of a great job.
As much as we treated it as a challenge, I really think this was the main objective. So, chalk that up as a win!
Started 214, currently 200.4. Like we called it from the beginning, a more thorough shave wouldāve had me in the 190s. No doubt.
Still pushing through to August when Iāll hopefully get into āholy shitā territory.
Ha, itās just from a place of love, Mr. Base-man. No worries. I didnāt name names anyhow.
And thatās the thing with the training/diet thing. Technically, there is always tomorrow or next week or whenever. This was just a chance for us all to buckle down, have a concrete target, and attack it as a group.
Pretty sure everyone got something out of this whole thing, regardless of where we ended up, whether it was āI do awesome on low carbs, bodypart splits, and steady state cardioā or āI punk out on cardio sessions, cut calories too fast, and canāt stick to a diet 12 days straight without cheating.ā
Dude you look a lot different and a hell of a lot better. You just donāt see it because you see yourself all the time. Keep cutting if you want to see crazy change, but I notice a big difference. Good work brother, keep it up.
Thanks, man! Ya, maybe youāre right.
I agree, thereās a noticeable improvement.
Nice work everyone.
This is probably my last post. A pumped up cheater pic from after my chest/shoulder/tri workout today.
Reverse diet is going well. Glad I listened to my coach.
can you turn that into a before/after to make it easy? Great work
Is that fair? Different lighting and I have a pump. The last one I posted is a lot more representative of my actual changes and current day-to-day look.
Oh looking back you already made on⦠Its hard to keep track.
Yeah, I posted a few because Iām terrible.
Youāve got a ton of hair products for a bald guy.
just sayinā

This totally isnāt meant to sound creepy, but Iāve got a folder going with all the before/afters. 12 are done and, actually, 12 more said they were in and havenāt put up āaftersā. Plus a certain Scottish someone who talked about being in, but hasnāt done a before or an after.

Iām one of those.
Some great changes going in here. Congrats to all those who saw it through. Following this thread has been a lot fun.
beg bw was around 180 ending bw is around 174. I didnāt use the scale much.

relaxed
after training
Damn impressive.
Thatās insane. How is that only 6 lbs.? Nice work
nice work, but honestly, this isnāt a magazine contest. It would have been nice if you had done the same pose in the first picture. You obviously stuck your gut out in the first pic. I can see your upper abs, lol. Thatās an intentionally bad picture. You clearly made progress, but thatās misleading. I have no desire to make disparaging remarks here, so I"ll leave it at that. Youāre extremely lean now, so congrats on that. You look within 10 lbs of being contest ready tbh, so thatās freaking awesome.
