Beck seemed a little down today

We’ve been through all this.

Repeated redeployments would NOT be less expensive than maintaining forward bases and would put us at a logistical and strategic disadvantage. Almost everything I’ve ever read or heard from people who’s lives have been given to modern warfare and who are experts in these areas reinforces this.

We are not going broke because of military spending which is one of the few actually mandated expenditures in our constitution. We would have vast piles of money for everything, including even more military spending if we had not set in place all these disastrous and obscenely expensive social programs. Yes, there is plenty of waste in the military, but social spending, at least the way we have been doing it, IS a waste. It’s worse than a waste.

Look, the Ron Paul vision of the world is just wrong. He is brilliant in many ways on domestic issues, but his positions on defense are dangerous and would save us no money in the end.
If you put bases around the world people will get pissed. If we mind our own buisness things will be fine. We have oceans between us and the rest of the world, and we have the strongest military in the history of the world. We are not going to be attacked, and if we do find out that an attack is about to happen we can take care of it easy, no nation building just 100% destruction. I would not compare this view with the hippie’s view.

Just think if we took all the money we are spending having bases around the world and used that to fund military technowledy, think of how much more advacned are military would be.

Anytime somebody uses the word “easy” in reference to an international military strike you know what you’re dealing with.
Listen my friend, you’re a good guy, but there is so much incurably unworkable AND expensive in what you just said it’s pointless for me to go on anymore.

Good show today from Beck. He Had Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr. Ted Nugent and Robert P. George as guests.

Beck today. Free Speech under attack.

Absolutely superb Beck today. (yesterday by now) Will have it in a little while. People offended by anything having to do with the “religious right” will have their blood boil. A successful ACLU in the 18th century would have prevented this country from ever having been founded.

Founders Fridays Part 1 Samuel Adams.

Obama told college graduates who watch Glenn Beck to give the Huffington Post a try, oh boy.

Obama should know not to pick fights with those who buy ink by the barrels.

Good one today:

Great one today. A forum with legal immigrants. Sorry for the quality. My daughter set it up by accident to use the coax instead of the S-Video input on the capture card.

Sure made Bam Bam look like the dumbass that he is. “Ice cream parlor.” Maybe Bam had an eel in his ass or sumthin when he said that?
So far just about the only time Bam Bam didn’t look like a dumbass was with the kidnapped ship captain when he did the right thing by not having a plan and letting somebody who knew what they were doing handle something.

GREAT Beck today. Founders Friday 2. Washington is on the way in a little while. My God how far we’ve fallen.

Beck’s Founder’s Friday’s.
George Washington, who would fall to his knees and weep if he could see what we’ve done to his country.

George Washington would not weep, he would whoop some ass.

Maybe both.

Beck today. The wide web of ultra leftists infesting our government. His usual mostly indisputable documentation with a smattering of stretch.

Beck provided a video clip of the speech Bam bam gave this past weekend to some Hampton University graduates. Bam described our own government as a “democracy.” The president of the country does NOT know the word NEVER ONCE appears in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or even in any of the 50 States Constitutions. And people still question as to how Bam wants to “fundamentally transform this country.” (this will sound like Glenn Beck) – “WEIRD!”

I didn’t wonder. I knew right from day one we would see an invasion of hippified ultra leftist America haters along with a commensurate tsunami of communist legislation. That’s not even mentioning the hackomatic activist judges. In my very first post referencing Obama in this forum almost 2 years ago I said he was an enemy of the United States and why. I am witnessing daily the thoroughgoing confirmation of that assessment.

I am not saying YOU per say, I was indirectly referring to the kids I was studying abroad with in Chile this semester. Almost all of them thought Bam was a great president. Since the first day I have heard about Bam, I have never liked the guy. Respect life? Where does he respect anything besides his agenda? Your assessments are correct, I just have HOPE for the future because I have a number of years left in this world.

On a related note, Tiribulus or anyone willing to chime in, which event do you believe was the event that started this country towards the down hill slope we are currently in? I have never liked Clinton and his policies. FTW the guy lied under oath, as president he lied under OATH! That should NEVER represent this country IMO. I was NOT alive during the reign of Nixon yet from what I hear he was just as fraudulent. In other words just as evil, to corrupt this country. Thoughts?

The destruction of the family in the 60’s was the final ingredient needed for the success of the assault on this nation which had been going on since the beginning of the 20th century. We could have never been brought to the brink like this while strong, committed, faithful families and the character that they engender were still ascendant. The sexual revolution of the 1960’s was the death knell of everything this country was founded to be. The sick and twisted idea that the founders of this nation wrote their constitution to support the wanton slaughter of one’s own unborn children was the next inevitable chapter.
Nobody, and I do mean nobody will convince me otherwise. This is clearer to me than the sky being up.
