Official 2020 T-ransformation Announcement Thread

I’m in. I had to cut it short last year due to getting some bad exertion headaches but I’m back in the gym and no headaches yet. I’ll be staying away from the 20 rep squat widowmakers from now on though.

Do it, not just for the 6 month part but so you have a starting point for the 1 year mark for next year.

Little chunky to start things off but at least it means my legs look big. Broke out the old handheld bodyfat machine, going to drop this down to the single digits soon enough.

First change to make is cutting out the post workout icecream and intra workout gummy worms

Now that it seems appropriate to post our entries, I’ll post mine (deleted previous).

Sitting at 230. As soon as I feast tomorrow, I will be trying to lose as much fat as possible.

This is such a struggle for me. Intra carbs help me lift hard even when calories get low, but cutting those calories helps your total day.

Decisions

I’m entering a squat peak cycle soon so with lower overall volume I think I’ll be okay. Honestly I’m probably not working hard enough to need them anyway.

It’s an easy thing to cut for that total calorie count. I’m saving the heavy hitters (honey on toast and whole milk) for April-ish to really shed the weight.

Just shy of 170lbs. Planning to gain weight throughout the entire T-ransformation. No aims to stop gaining until at least two bills (but two bills isn’t something I plan on hitting within the challenge).

All right, here goes. Not a great picture, but I’m not really competing with anyone else, so I don’t see that it matters.

I’m 5’7" and weighed in at 145 this morning. My goal is to lean down and strengthen. Not sure what that means, definitely dropping 5 pounds, and maybe closer to 10, and put the cross training back in that’s fallen by the wayside (the weights!). So we’ll see. I’ll try to give a good push and see what happens. I’m pretty much just chasing my former self. Ultimately that’s a losing game, but I’m not ready not to try.

I’m down 10 pounds since late summer, so I’m doing pretty well with my diet and taking time to work out. I just need to work out smarter and stop compulsively chasing distance on my treadmill.

Edit: I also need to clean up that room. We’re between company, which is why I’m posting this now.

Starting weight 168 compared to last year’s 195 start. Time to put some meat back on these bones.

Absolutely, yes. Cheesy salty, bloat for the win.

Yep eating anything not nailed down.

I snapped a before pic last night…and thought…damn what did egg nog do to you. The football this weekend won’t help either…but I’m going to jump in and finally start a log. Got some work to do.
