Official 2020 T-ransformation Announcement Thread

I’ve gained like 5-6.

I feel like I have won. My goal was to get consistent in the gym and with the diet, which I have almost accomplished. I ve lost about 2kgs, my conditioning is getting up, I am hitting the gym 4-5 times per week, while the last 2 weeks I have been progressing every workout. I am still figuring a good diet for myself, but I am eathing less and more healthy. And thatI is why exactly I joined. Just need to keep until June and afterwards.

All gyms closed for at least a few weeks, so it looks like I will have to figure out how to do stuff from home.

Pizza still delivers though, right?

They might, but it might also come with some extra toppings you didn’t order.

And guys…I don’t want to brag and give an exact number, guys, but I have more than 23 rolls of toilet paper.

I think similar to @Frank_C, I’m not exactly transforming. I think I am gaining just a little bit of muscle (hooray!) and losing a tiny bit of fat, but I don’t know if I’m willing to do what it will apparently take for me to really drop a bunch of fat at this point. I’m trying to settle into a lower calorie diet that I can sustain, because I would like to live my life below 200lbs. without having to worry about it.

Anyway, basically: “blah, blah, excuse, blah, justification, blah.”

Eating like a real boy now that vacation is over.
Starting Guaranteed Muscle Mass on Monday if the gym isn’t closed for coronavirus.
Abs aren’t showing but god it’s nice to eat again!

Struggling to hold tight here. My daughter had brain surgery on Monday (a pituitary cyst, so not the biggest deal, but still) at a hospital with virus-positive staff. While we were waiting to see her post-op, my husband, phone conferencing in to “a special meeting” at work, had his salary reduced by 20% - and this was before the market really tumbled and took huge chunks of our money with it.

Last night, after my daughter had to go to the ER because she lost the plug they put in the emptied cyst and thought she was leaking (and may have been, who-tf knows) cerebrospinal fluid, I self-soothed thusly:

I’m up a pound from the start, and up 3 from my low. Lifts and sprints keep improving, which is good, but I honestly just want to eat ice cream and then curl up in a ball around my full belly and sleep for days.

I’m also struggling with a pulled or strained neck, which is radiating pain to my shoulder and back, so I’ve backed off on stuff that messes with that area. I don’t know whether to continue upper body stuff or take a break or what.

Gaaahhhhh.

Damn! That’s a lot going on there. I don’t think anybody can blame you for finding a little comfort in the storm.

Hope your daughter gets well soon.

Hang in there. You got this!

You’re a pretty tough and resilient person.

I don’t think a cookie and a nap will change that.

You’ve got real life going on. That’s a bit bigger deal. That’s a really tough run. I hope things settle down for you here ASAP!

Looks like some modifications are in order for the workout plans.

Oh well. Doesnt matter…get better.

Things are going well here for the moment. Thursday was my last day in the office; I’ll switch to telehealth next week. Assuming we stay well here, I’ll have more time and energy for workouts. Closed restaurants are also a boon to me in terms of my T-ransformation.

My daughter is doing well, and I’m back down a pound or so.

Just have to resist snacking my way through the pandemic.

I don’t know I find it slightly easier to stick to my diet since I don’t have days where I am ultra tired by work or waking up at 5 and as such more weak minded

Down to 85 BTW

I have been out of work since Monday evening… no service calls and the only installation jobs we have would be me working alongside two (much) older gentleman. I made the decision not to help, mostly to try and keep them as safe as possible (which is unfair in my mind, but that’s for another thread). I will more than likely be getting a temporary job with my bro, roofing for the time being until this dies down.

Routine is out the window, eating has been way off and I’m down 3-4lbs since Monday. Weighed 200.8 this morning fully clothed. So all in all, I have gained just about nothing haha! My back is growing though, slow pull ups and heavy pendlay rows are amazing.

About to go on a no heat call this morning in an apartment building… N95 mask, gloves, eye protection… the works. See you on the other side.

Edit: finished the call and I’m still alive… but for how long??? Updates to follow as symptoms progress… end journal entry 03.21.2020… codename beerman transmission ending in 3…2…1…
