That’s funny. I tend to gain weight if I’m shooting for maintenance.
Belt size (both regular belt and lifting belt) is actually a good indicator for me as well, because the mirror sometimes lies.
Guess since Im not putting up a log…I suppose I could show 2 months of my progress. Had to scrap OMAD and the 40 day program…went to full body 3 days a week. Cant recover like I used to. Strength is going up. Cardio and Mobility 2 days a week between lifting sessions. Sometimes I squeeze in a Sat session…but mostly just NEPA stuff.
I’m back from my cruise to the Bahamas. In 6 days I gained 10 lbs but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly water weight. I ate and drank ALL the carbs and everything else. I was keto and in a pretty big deficit leading up to the trip and will up my calories now.
I did hurt my knee chasing down my uber in Miami. I was carrying a backpack at a full sprint for what felt like a good quarter mile. I thought I left my phone in the car but when I finally caught up to him I realized I had my phone the whole time. (D’oh)
I’m right behind you. Friday or Saturday I’ll check back in with the damage of my 5day Caribbean trip.
And here I am, not even a pound up after all those carbs and pina coladas. Maybe the energy required to do a trip with 3 little kids burned it all off so I broke even.the
Weighed in this morning at 176lbs. Which is where I was when I left.
Probably going to start eating vigorously again and taking creatine and see where I get in the next 6 weeks.
That’s the sweet spot for me for sure. Can stay pretty satisfied and lean in that range
Pushed my weight up to 180 so far and then got hit with the stomach flu. Two days later and I’m like 175. Hopefully just dehydrated. Still don’t want to eat much.
Month 3 begins
Weight coming down and feeling OK. Think I have Coronavirus but nothing is stopping me right now.

Sooo since ending my diet I think I accidentally kicked up my metabolism. Dipped under 170lbs for the first time in 2+ years. Eating 10 eggs in a meal no longer makes me full for more than a few hours. Workouts have also been progressing well.
I think I’m ready to become a guru and write a recomp ebook, pancake Sundays included. Taking preorders now.
Can no longer fit my pair of leggings. Leg gains? Lol
I don’t know why I forced myself into them in the first place, but nobody asked anyways lol
Back down to my pre holiday 195. Only 2 weeks lost.

Now time to hang out here for a couple of months and see if I can manage a little bit of a recomp. Most likely I’ll end up right back where I started but here’s to hoping for a successful bulk.
I dunno, man, I can only count like 14 abs in that picture.

You’re also more tan in the second picture, which from what I understand, makes people look leaner
