Sump-Pump-Lump,
Are you a member of the Kerry campaign?
Would you like to put your money where your mouth is and accept THE CHALLENGE.
Yes/No answers will do.

Lumpa, I’ve concluded that you are an idiot.

Good riddance.
To Jeff
I’m not going to play along with your challenge after the way you repeatedly ducked MY challenge:
The T-Mag Chickenhawk Military Sign-Up.
As one of the main cheerleaders for the Iraq war on this website, you ought to bring your cheerleading skills to Iraq, where manpower is in short supply. I assume that you are at least in decent shape and can pass a physical, since you read T-Mag?
Maybe I’m mistaken though… have you been typing your responses from Iraq? Are you already in uniform? If so, I salute you for putting your money where your mouth is.
If not, then MOUNT UP. I’m sure the military will let you bring your pom poms along.
Accept the Chickenhawk Challenge! RAH!
Yeah Jeff, I think you and Zeb would look stunning in fatigues! You could then show your support for the war in the best way possible.
Seriously though you guys seems to have lost the original point of the thread (how unusual for that to happen in this forum!) What will the surprise(s) be? I too think some kind of Osama announcement could be on the cards, although if the US was in a position to get him and then decided to time that with the last two weeks of the campaign, that could backfire horribly once the public found out. Some more dirt? Surely enough Swift Boat type crap has been thrown. Me, I’m eager to see if there are any aces still up the candidate’s sleeves.
I think we’ll get testimony from witnesses that were present when Bush was snorting coke and washing it down with Jack Daniels.
Woohoo! Another four years of the Bush party… I can’t wait!!! He’s got such good judgement, he’s so honest, he’s a war hero, and he’s so good at uniting people both within the states and on the worldwide theatre.
I think the only candidate that could do better would be Mickey Mouse. Maybe someone can photoshop some ears on Kerry for us?

How many 18 to 22 year olds do you think will be voting my friend? 30%? 35%? And of the total Bush will get at least 40%, or more, of those.[/quote]
I try to steer clear of political wars, but Zeb, my class talked about this very thing on Tuesday. I am 29 but I am taking a freshman level course. Most students, all but 2, are under 20. There seems to be an uncharastic amout of interest from this demographic. I believe all students were set on casting a vote. There were none that opposed voting and 2 or 3 who were on the fence. I think there will be more ov a turn out from the teens than you may think.
P.S. The class is 30 students big.

Roy,
I liked your last post.
You are behaving more thoughtfully lately.
I appreciate that.

Roy, I commend you for not telling JeffR to shove his high brow straight up his ass…great restraint, my friend.

PGA – don’t you know that the ivory towers of universities have practically nothing to offer? Step into the real world my friend…a college education is for wussies!

Only those that think a college education entitles them to anything is a wussy.
PGA:
Well, if your class talked about it and all the little boys and girls were excited then I’m sure that everyone will turn out and vote for John Kerry ![]()
Seriously, I’m sure that those who are in a political Science course are first, more interested than those not taking such a course. Secondly, I’m sure that everyone just gets all frothy at the mouth when they are in class giving the impression that they are just dying to get out and vote.
Come election day you will see no more than 33% (or so) voting. Why is that? Becuase that is right around the level of interest every four years by this age group. Think you might hit 35% or 36%, could be, but that won’t make a difference in W’s numbers.
By the way good for you for taking that class! ![]()
Lumpy,
“runaway spending massive growth of the federal government overall loss of jobs sluggish economy worst attack on US soil in history non-essential war that costs hundreds of billions”
You sound just like a Democrat in 1861. Sic semper tyrannis, aye?
“Your team had a clear shot, but instead of a slam dunk, you kicked the ball out of bounds.”
What the hell sport are you playing here?
By the way, I don’t think that “a college education is for wussys.” I have a degree and find that it helped me early on.
My problem is with those who think that education is the end all and be all. “I have X amount of degrees therefore I am inherently smarter than you.” I also have a problem with those who have a higher degree and that’s all. I feel that living life and having a multitude of experiences is even more important than a degree.
