So again I ask - where is the shouting and pounding of fists over the people responsible for the housing crisis to “take responsibility”?
But this is a straw man - who is saying that the people responsible for the housing crisis should not take responsibility? You’re just swinging at wild pitches.
What I want to hear - as you conveniently try to cast this as “young v. old” while remaining uneducated on what actually caused the problems - is how exactly does the “older generation” take responsibility?
Start at the beginning. You’re flaming mad because young people were promised if they went to college, they were essentially “guaranteed” a certain quality of life/standard of living. That isn’t happening.
So, how exactly should the old people “fix” this? You can’t reverse the policies that got us here. Second, bad ideas aren’t criminal, so no one is really going to jail over this.
Well, let’s hear specifically what the “old people” need to do to fix it.

This is pretty comical since Miller wrote one of the most popular rage against the system comics in the 80’s The Dark Knight Returns, where an old Batman fights a 1984 like government with Superman being the pawn of the Republican president
The encampment became a place where we had repeated violence and this week a murder. We had to bring the camp to an end before more people were hurt," she said.
Welp, sounds to me like it’s time for this shit to end… Hint, if you act like assholes and you have violence, crime, health hazards, and even murder in your movement, nobody gives a shit what you think…
You’re taking up resources, destroying public property, and creation sanitation hazards. Time to go the fuck home.

Ok, ok - I get it. First, blame the younger generation (they just aren’t taking responsbility). But when its pointed out that the problems were actually caused by the older generation, we need to specificy that it was the liberals of the older generation responsible.
Typical.
Collectivism can get so terribly confusing, can it not?

Well, that is not entirely true.
Kill one, sure, kill a few hundred thousand and suddenly people are very interested in your thoughts.

Yeah well, if you want to hug nature, nature might just hug you back.
Head lice and tuberculosis are just two of the many ways nature shows how much it appreciates us.

What’s “going down”? These people don’t even have a clear agenda for one. And for two, when you make yourselves a fixture, people start to ignore you. If you ask 10 of them “why they are there?” you get 10 different answers. Not smart politico action.
Is this the beginning of the end of OWS? Without a clear message they at least had camps so everyone was constantly reminded of it. Without camps, no organization, mixed messages, people who once supported them now pissed off, what can they really do now? It might come back but in a different way hopefully.
