I don’t think boobs was your biggest problem as a child if you were in the 4th grade and actually trying to follow the food pyramid. LOL. I was trying to cram in as much candy as I possibly could at that age.

Excess protein turns into fat-- From the US Army’s nutritional geniuses.

  1. “A calorie is a calorie.” Meaning that all calories have an equal effect on the body.

  2. All fat is bad.

  3. Soy is good for men.

  4. The key to hawt abz is doing 1000 crunches a day.

  5. Eating carrots will make you fat from the “tons” of sugar in them.

  6. Don’t eat avocados, because they have “like 10,000 calories in them.”

  7. Starbucks is real coffee.

  8. As long as you eat low-fat, you can eat as much as you want, and you don’t get fat.

  9. Red meat is bad for you.

  10. Protein stresses your kidneys, proven by the elevated levels of creatinine, which is a sign of protein METABOLISM, not damage.

I lol’d. I hate Starbucks coffee and will never understand why people rave about it.

On another point, I try to refrain from bashing all vegetarians because my sister is a vegetarian for purely ethical reasons. She’s not uppity or preachy about it and I’ve heard her tell people several times that they shouldn’t be vegetarian for health reasons because it’s not healthier. She’s also overweight so that busts the whole vegetarians are skinny myth.

I wish she cared more about her health but I’m glad she’s not delusional about it.

i had a shit metabolism too, i was way fat for a very long time.

brown rice is so much better for you than white rice.

granola bars are good for you because…you know its granola…

eggs will make you have high cholesterol! (6 eggs a day and my cholesterol is 143)

I used to think that pop-tarts were bad for you, not anymore thanks to Stu.

This ‘‘muscle turns to fat’’ shit really grinds my fucking gears.
My sister recently acquired a gym instructor certification and now thinks she is the law and order when it comes to exercise and nutrition.
It’s lucky I only see her once every few months because she actually pisses me off when she comes home.

Last time I saw her she made some comment about muscle turning to fat. I said it can’t happen, muscle and fat are two seperate tissue’s yadda yadda yadda…
She argued with me for a bit before saying ‘‘we’re just going to have to agree to disagree’’. I had gotten a bit wound up by now because her argument is so fucking stupid and she just doesn’t see why.

Then again, she’s also under the impression that she’s what every woman strives to look like(about 95lbs) and thinks distance running is the only way to achieve it. Everything is low fat and high carb. Protein is lucky if it gets a look in.

Of course, because she has the ‘qualification’ then she ‘must be right’ according to everyone else.

Fuck I needed to get that off my chest

You don’t know what I’d do for a good coffee right now.

The vegetarian myth. I just spent 3 days with a girl of 23 years old, vegetarian, weighs about 75lbs, looks like her neck is about to snap from the weight of her head. She’s getting married in 2 weeks, and told everyone this morning that she would have to starve herself for the next 2 weeks to gt into her dress, which must have come from the toddlers section.
I seriously wanted to force feed her a steak.

lol, this isn’t the stupidest thing I’ve heard. this has to do with training not nutrition, but whatever…

my uncle, whose diabetic, 347lbs@6ft4in, told me that to build muscle, the curl is the best exercise and you have to do 1000 reps(yes, that much) to build muscle, or your building fat.

i guess he got to 347lbs from those “low reps” lol

The worst nutrition advice? Vegetarianism. I’ve never been a vegetarian, mind you. I’m the type of person who does obsessive research on something before believing it, and I sniffed the vegan bullcrap out real quick.
