I’m a sprinter, and not a very good cook.
Anyone know some easy, healthly things to make?

hi Don. Steve Berardi has a couple of good articles in the back issues called “Recipe’s for success,” you might want to take a look at those. One of my personal favorites though is just a basic baked salmon filet. you can get somewhat creative with the spices and make it extremely tasty. put the filet on one half of a piece of tin foil. i make some small slits in the filet, then stuff some garlic, ground rosemary, and maybe some shallots into the slits. then drizzle some olive oil over the filet and perhaps some white wine. fold the tin foil over and roll the edges to seal everything in and bake at 450 degrees directly on the top rack of the oven. for a 1 inch thick filet it should take about 15 minutes to cook. the really great part about it is there are no pots or pans to clean, if you really wanted to, you could eat it straight out of the tin foil. cottage cheese makes a good side dish for a protein-fat meal. yeah, yeah, most everyone hates cottage cheese, sorry but i love the stuff.

AP + water in a blender is about as easy as it gets!!! sorry…seriously, chicken and veggies are super easy. how about what foods do you like and we can go from there???

Look in Reader Mail over the last month, they’ve been running blender recipes.

Read the “foods that make you look good naked” article at T-mag. It was in the last issue I think. It’s for BB’s but much of it would apply to a sprinter too.

Ok, this was in Muscle Media, sorry, but it is really cool. Mix one cup of plain cheerios with a serving of nonfat milk that has been mixed with a serving of chocolate protein powder. Fast, easy, and nutritious.

Gotta say after tim’s recommendation - big 'ole tub of cottage cheese mixed with half a pack of low sugar angel delight is the absolute nuts!
