One thing if you are trying to gain weight, i’d say you are overdoing the cardio 3 x 30 mins a week and 15-20 on weight days - That’s too much cv if u want to gain weight. If you following an intense programme like TBT and go all out, stop the cardio all together, eat good & you’ll see results[/quote]
Yeah. See i dont think its the fact of gaining weight (cause i do it easy enough as it is) im just trying to keep fat weight off. for me for some reason it is a pain in the ass to get it off and keep it off…thats why i throw the cardio in …
On the topic of your current supplements:
Use them up and head over to the Grow! Bar for the real stuff. I used MetRx for awhile before I discovered Grow!. The price and quality of Grow! far surpasses the MetRX line.
On the topic of Surge:
While it isn’t a scientific study, the Velocity Diet has proven that Surge post-workout will not jeopardize the benefits of a low-carb diet. I believe John Berardi wrote about this as well. Low-Carb diets are effective in that they prevent that ability for insulin to store fat to lower your blood sugar. This whole problem is avoided post-workout because insulin focuses nearly 100% of that sugar spike into muscle glycogen. People have lost 13+ lbs on the Velocity Diet while still using Surge.
Bottom Line:
Use up and move to Grow!
Surge is fine for a low-carb diet.

This may sound unbelievable for a small chick like me (5’3", 111#) but I always ALWAYS have these in a small cooler and in the middle console of my car:
Jack Link’s Jerky Nuggets
Raw Almonds
Dried Plums- cherry essence (if I had not enough of this food group for the day)
6 hard boiled eggs (eat the whites only)
XS Energy drink, sugar free (like red bull)
Protein Bars
Protein Powder
Glutamine Powder
Shaker
