Most of the articles I have read on nutrient timing describe the way you should time nutrients on days you train. What modifications should be made to non weight training days with respect to carbohydrate timing and amount?
I am currently eating 250 - 275 grams of carbs on weight traing days.
I usually have my carbs such as oatmeal /fruit/ sweet potato in the first 3-4 meals of the day.
My last two meals would consist more healthy fats and a bit of green veges such as brocoli/spinach or green beens.
I try not to consume any simple carbs off training days. I hope it helps.
Yeah that’s usually what I do. Have 3 carb meals first in day then switch to p+f meals for rest of day. But Berardi once made reference to having some of his athelets only have carbs on training day and non training being almost all p+f meals…
