- For my main lifts I am doing the progression percentages on Best Damn Strength for one max rep set.
-For my assistance lifts I want to do double progression or rest pause for 4 to 6 reps
So my questions are:

do you have a preference or suggestion on which method would be better for the big assistance movement

If double progression, what are the sets that you recommend?
Because I know double progression could be used with any amount of sets.
For example using one set of 4 to 6 reps and you get 6 reps you increase the weight next workout which would be very intense. But I also think that five sets of 4 to 6 reps would be too low of intensity for me.
Because if I use a weight that allows me to get 6 reps on all five sets thats demotivating to me.
I am attracted towars less sets and higher intensity more but don’t want to do too few sets to not have a good training effect.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your time
