OMO after watching this video for 500th time you have inspired me to petition Tnation administration to create a new section for you and the other females here. I believe sexy powerful women would be more appropriate…wouldnt you say??
When’s the race again–this summer? What kind of weekly mileage do you hope to work up to?
The race is the last full week of August. I can’t remember off hand without my running schedule in front of me but I think I’ll only get up into the 60-70 miles per week range. Given how I like to blow off runs though who knows what my ACTUAL mileage will be lol!

Good luck getting your running back in gear. I don’t envy you one bit on that one. How many miles were you planning for this week?
PMSL over the cougar, etc. conversation. I like the ‘puma’ thing. Might have to take a run at that myself sometime. Nice to hear that the 24 yo is banging you and helping you out with your training. WIN.
Yeah, this is the first time I’m trying the puma thing and I must admit…its really kinda fun. If we had a sexy boyfriend thread I just might have to throw a pic or two of his beefy self up there
Alright…on to some good news…Friday Irish did in fact get me on the treadmill at lunch and I managed 5 miles even though my compartment syndrome (here’s a link in case you wanna know what it is Chronic exertional compartment syndrome - Symptoms and causes - Mayo Clinic ) was acting up for the first three miles. Even BETTER news is that saturday I got out and did 10 miles on the trails in the morning.
My goal for the week mileage-wise was 21…I was supposed to run 4 miles yesterday as well but I unfortunately had to waitress starting in the afternoon and only had time in the morning to get a lifting workout in-which I’ll be posting shortly I wish I could count waitressing towards my mileage…yesterday was a giant shitstorm clusterfuck. It was the definition of a restaurant crashing and burning. I’ve never seen so many unhappy guests at one time. They overbooked in a ridiculous amount (Happy Mothers Day…now you have to wait two hours to eat! lol!)

Well usually its not too bad as long as I warm up a TON before getting into the bulk of my run. But I think that heavier leg day made my calves really sore and then I was rushed for time at lunch and it made for a perfect situation for the compartment syndrome to flare up. The options I have are to either have the surgery to fix it or just run slower…I opted for running slower

That sounds like it sucks. Can nothing be done aside from surgery?
Physical therapy, orthotics (inserts for shoes), and anti-inflammatory medicines are sometimes suggested. They have had questionable results for relieving symptoms.
Sometimes changing running surfaces is said to help somewhat.
Not bad numbers for a winy Cunt LMAo. Cant wait till we can slow down our pace and focus on one muscle group a day, but you still seem to be progressing pretty damn well!!!
