Well im currently 17 training to become a bodybuilder and ive been training for four years. For the past two my cycles been pretty generic
(old cycle)
day 1 chest
day 2 back
day 3 off
day 4 shoulders
day 5 legs
day 6 arms
day 7 off
and my supplement stack has been
wake up- multivitamin, USP PowerFULL, Joint Support (plus kidney support a little bit later)
pre workout- USP Jack3d, 5g of creatine, 2 USP PowerFULL
Post workout- 5g of creatine, 25g of whey protein, BCAA
Night- Green Tea Extract, PowerFull, 25g of whey protein
Im currently bulking with about 5 food meals and 2 protein shake meals and i weigh 255 off season (Id be around 205 with 5 percent bodyfat)
ANYWAY ive gotten to the point where im really dedicated, I cant take a day off without feeling like shit. My recoveries are fine and Ive only been taking 1 day off a week and all of my lifts have gone up pretty well in just one month for example bentrow went up from 225x10 to 225x 12.
I feel like my body can handle not taking a day off as long as I am mentally ready anyone who has any advice or has a similar training regime please feel free to post.
Listen to your body and take a break when you need it.
If your lifts are going up then good.
You could always take a day off to prep food for the week, or do some NEPA (Non Exercise Physical Activity) normally for fat loss, but its also cood for CV health and getting blood pumped around your body can help with recovery.
When I started taking time off from the gym it allowed my body a small window of recovery. I used to be on a 7 day split. I listen to my body and train accordingly. Sometimes the start align and I can keep it going for 7 days and sometimes I need a day off during the week to recover. My advice is to listen to your body. It will tell you when you need time off.

I would check the store here at TMUSCLE and pick up some Surge Recovery. A proven effective and affordable PWO supplement. Packed with none of the hype like other supplements in its class and backed by the quality you can count on from a Biotest product. It should be the weapon of choice for any serious athlete.
