I didn’t even realize that was possible. I guess he took that cue that CT uses “try to lose your balance backwards” a little too seriously.
its the kind of thing you expect to see a beginner do with 135 pounds. You’d think anyone who could even pull that kind of weight off the ground would have had enough sense to know that he wasn’t ready yet.
you can’t doubt his determination though
I think he was still pulling for a second there on his back

That’s because he’s unconscious. probably before he hit the ground

Do the DL rules say it has to be vertical?
Technically he locked it out. Or really, I guess, it locked him out.
Nice ass-zipper-pocket. I’m sure it broke hos fall. People like this dumbass meathead are a big reason why I hate telling “normal” members of society about the lifting I do. Then I get grouped in with fucking people like this guy. I can see the conversation now:
“Oh you, like, do the deadlift? I saw a guy at the gym with over 1000lbs on fall down when he was deadlifting. So, thats, like, dangerous right?”
That asshole needs to take his fucking hat off, put some fucking shoes on, and learn how to lift weights.
He scared the deadlift out of me, back to lunges and leg curls I guess.

More like 565 (256kgs), which sure is some serious metal. But then again, he got stapled on a deadlift…[/quote]
Why would Norwegian lift with pound plates.
I have seen red plates that are 20kgs, super training and diesel crews old location have them, so it could be 565, but weight shouldn’t matter as much when you’re trying to max your ego.
The bar is so clearly off center too, this was dangerous and asinine.
