Tried posting this in injuries but thread hijackers are a bitch.
I have pretty painful plantar fasciitis. My current shoes suck, but are non slip.
Anyone work on their feet behind the line have comfortable shoe advice? My preferred shoe for comfort is the chuck. I also have pretty high arches. Let me know if you have a similar situation for foot structure and shoe preference, and even if you don’t, post what was comfortable for you.

Cheap is better, but we all know how that goes.
Dunno what your needs are as far as durability, but when I waited tables for a little while in college I picked up a pair of Dr. Scholls from Walmart on the cheap. Non-slip and amazingly comfortable. My father in law wears them as well as a manager at a shipping company, having to be on his feet most of the day.
EDIT: Almost forgot, I also have high arches and a tendency to walk more on the outside of my foot.

I’ll look into those. A buddy mentioned walmart shoes too, so maybe I’ll look at return policies bc I’m a skeptic of wally world shoes as a matter of principle… I’ll check them out though, for sure.

They have non slip chucks if you like them.
I’ve seen these but wasn’t sure if it fits like an actual chuck. I have a pair from SFC and they fit like shit thus far, hence why I haven’t bought them yet. In fact, the bottom/insole POS whatever it was actually disintegrated out of them, so I had to add a separate insole so I wasn’t walking on a square grid that makes the non-slip part. Crappy shoe, can’t imagine they do the chuck version any justice.

dude, get that plantar fasciitis sorted. Buy a lacrosse ball and just endure the 5 mins of utter agony you’ll need to go through every night for like 2 weeks.

Since I reposted this I forgot to mention a bit of stuff I guess. I roll my feet several times a day, deep calve massages and pretty good bouts of stretching. It seems to be a combination of time on the feet, and shitty shoes. I wish rolling fixed it, but it just seems to make things hurt a bit less, like an 8 out of 10 or so
