You are good at pulling numbers out of your ass.
HH seem to think I’m in the Afghan hills. Adamsson thinks I’m out to get the Jews. Hedo would bet I’m part of some Al-Qaeda cell. Someone called me a teenager yesterday on another thread. I have been labelled as “communist”, “apologist for terror”, “anti-semite” and all the tags that are thrown at the face of any critic of the Bush administration.
The truth is out there.
To test this – Hey Lixy, you ever been to Stockholm? Where’s the place the locals say you can always find bums in Stockholm?
You can’t test the knowledge of someone sitting behind a connected box.
Stockholm is not your average metropole. The sight of a bum is extremely rare. I run across a couple around the area of Stockholm central train station and one in the tube. It didn’t occcur to me to ask the locals about hangouts for bums. I was more interested in the hot chick scene!
The interesting part is that you never seem to recognize the fact that you use labels and tags fare more often than those you accuse… Ironic, isn’t it? And I still await your comment on my theory on religious violence. You keep avoiding it, so I’ll even requote it:
A christian father from south-western USA got interviewed about why he refused to let his daughter get an abortion after she was the victim of a rape… He said, and meant it: “beacause I love her”…
In his head, within his frame of reference, a life of physical, mental and economical strain on the girl was NOTHING… compared to the hell she was going to if she went trough with the abortion…
Most people would cry “HE IS EVIL!!”… but no, he isn’t evil… he infact DIT it beacause he loved her… just as violent christians in the year 1030 with sword in hand tried to convert vikings in Norway… Ofcourse, some of it was powerplay, some of it was intrigues… but some of it was also out of LOVE…
Many muslims today do violent things… commit horrible acts of terror, but not beacause they want to do the wrong thing and are wilfully evil, but beacause they think they are on god’s side… they think they do the right thing. They have a higher good to fight for…
“…But when it comes to human beings, the only type of cause that matters is final cause, the purpose. What a person had in mind. Once you understand what people really want, you can’t hate them anymore. You can fear them, but you can’t hate them, because you can always find the same desires in your own heart.”
