Just a note on the founder of Brusselsjournal; Here’s how Paul Belien, the xenophobic racist describes Belgians of North African descent.

“The predators have teeth and claws. The predators have knives. Starting when they’re small, they learn at their yearly offerings how to cut the throats of warm-blooded livestock. We get sick at the sight of blood, but they don’t. They’re trained and they’re armed. We can’t even carry pepperspray in our pockets. They have switchblades and butchers knives and they know how to use them.”

It is interesting how lixy ALWAYS… and WITHOUT exepctions… attacks the man, not the ball. He is unable to argue in a civil manner, and keeps attacking the man, instead of picking apart the man’s arguments.

why is this?
I think that it is called denial. Not to beat a dead horse, but I really think that Egyption Dr. Ruth in the aforementioned post really is on to something. Perhaps she should post on Sex and the Male Animal link.

I think if most of the radical (angry) radical islamists were getting laid a bit more, there would be fewer terrorists in the world.

Just one man’s opinion.

And not to harp on the obvious in return, but it’s been pretty well-established that he’s a cyber jihadist. I admire your persistence but do you really think you’re going to make a dent?

p.s. Having read what he wrote, I think the chances of him being a 20-something grad student in California are about 9000 times that of his being a Moroccan living in Sweden.

To test this – Hey Lixy, you ever been to Stockholm? Where’s the place the locals say you can always find bums in Stockholm?
Tokoya wrote:
Switching gears, what’s your take on the earlier post about Egypt’s ‘Dr. Ruth’: Let’s talk sex in the Arab world.

Never seen her show, so I can’t really tell. What I do know, on the other hand, is that feminists are well respected in Morocco and the prolific artists treating of sexual matters have never been bothered. I can also attest that the Egyptian cinema and TV industry (Cairo is the equivalent of Hollywood for the Arab world) makes its bread and butter out of sex. I imagine that they might be bothered with protests because of the Brotherhood and all, but as far as I know, nobody has ever been agressed. That being, I’m pretty confident that McKinsey received death threats. Also, in every country, at some point, a bunch of ultra-conservatives have resisted sex scenes on TV.

If your point is that sex-oriented talk shows are an emerging business in the Muslim world, that the Arab world is lagging behind in that aspect and that it takes some time before the public gets accostumed to such things, then we’re on the same wavelength. However, if you’re trying to say that the Islamic culture is to blame for the shock such subjects may cause when publicized, then you’re only fueling the fire and helping the radicals widen their support base.

Hope this helps.

You know Islam is about 600 years behind Christianity chronologically, right? And while the Christians were out being fucked up, the Muslims were the ones shaking their heads at the barbarism of it all?

I’m just saying that the religion itself isn’t inherently evil. Being Muslim doesn’t make you evil, radical indoctrination does.
The first part of your argument is illogical, and even if I agreed with your reasoning, the ethical argument is a terrible one.

So we should allow all the murderous excesses of modern radical Islam that they choose to perpetuate, because a bunch of crazy guys with various poxes decided to do crazy shit in the name of God before they knew how to print paper? Back in the days when your house was made of cow shit, slavery was rampant, and government consisted of the strongest man who could kill and terrorize the most of his countrymen (aka medieval European / modern and historical arab model / tyrrany).

What kind of argument is that? Who gives a shit if Islam is 600 years younger than Christianity, or that various sects of Christianity have done horrible things in the last millenium?

I guess I am saying that if the radical islamists were getting laid more, there would be fewer acts of terror. Probably a few less “honor killings” as well.

Just an unproven hypothesis, but I really think that I am on to something here.

Run it by your friends and let me know.

You are good at pulling numbers out of your ass.

HH seem to think I’m in the Afghan hills. Adamsson thinks I’m out to get the Jews. Hedo would bet I’m part of some Al-Qaeda cell. Someone called me a teenager yesterday on another thread. I have been labelled as “communist”, “apologist for terror”, “anti-semite” and all the tags that are thrown at the face of any critic of the Bush administration.

The truth is out there.

You can’t test the knowledge of someone sitting behind a connected box.

Stockholm is not your average metropole. The sight of a bum is extremely rare. I run across a couple around the area of Stockholm central train station and one in the tube. It didn’t occcur to me to ask the locals about hangouts for bums. I was more interested in the hot chick scene!

The interesting part is that you never seem to recognize the fact that you use labels and tags fare more often than those you accuse… Ironic, isn’t it? And I still await your comment on my theory on religious violence. You keep avoiding it, so I’ll even requote it:
A christian father from south-western USA got interviewed about why he refused to let his daughter get an abortion after she was the victim of a rape… He said, and meant it: “beacause I love her”…

In his head, within his frame of reference, a life of physical, mental and economical strain on the girl was NOTHING… compared to the hell she was going to if she went trough with the abortion…

Most people would cry “HE IS EVIL!!”… but no, he isn’t evil… he infact DIT it beacause he loved her… just as violent christians in the year 1030 with sword in hand tried to convert vikings in Norway… Ofcourse, some of it was powerplay, some of it was intrigues… but some of it was also out of LOVE…

Many muslims today do violent things… commit horrible acts of terror, but not beacause they want to do the wrong thing and are wilfully evil, but beacause they think they are on god’s side… they think they do the right thing. They have a higher good to fight for…

“…But when it comes to human beings, the only type of cause that matters is final cause, the purpose. What a person had in mind. Once you understand what people really want, you can’t hate them anymore. You can fear them, but you can’t hate them, because you can always find the same desires in your own heart.”
Totally agreed! That requires them to get a life though.

Reminds me of a Hadith where Muhammad (pbuh) comes across two brothers one of which spends all day in the mosque doing nothing but pray and recite Quranic verses, while his capenter brother busts his hump all day, doing nothing more than the absolute minimum religion-wise. The prophet then affirms that the latter is a better Muslim.

Lixy, how about you apply the standards you apply on Israel… on Palestine…? Or Syria…? or… Lebanon…? Or… let us say: Sweden from 1941-1945…?

Why have him do that, are you trying to make me loose my one good laugh of the day. This guy an ass clown and needs to start lifting weights or get off a weight lifting forum

he DOES lift weights, he just… doesen’t want to be strong, he just wants to look cute.

I prefer cute over stupid.

I like Lixy posting on here. He brings a Muslim perspective to the board. I find that interesting: Westerners tend to think from a conceptual-logical-mathematical point of view. Muslims tend to think based on a Medieval mindset, as religionists.

Its like looking back in time, much like looking at the early universe by looking at distant galaxies.

Fascinating!
It would be fascinating to read how your conceptual-logical-mathematical line of thinking lead you to believe that war is good and that peace protestors must be terrorists.

You mean, unlike you? When you read his post about the attack on Mairead Maguire you responded by “you’re an anti-semite”. Didn’t you?

Didn’t you?

Back to the attack on the Nobel prize winner… Do you realize how much shit the soldiers of Israel have to deal with on a daily basis? They get provoked, they beat the shit out of you. Why test them? And Lixy, since you have so much knowledge about the U.S. and Israel, I’m wondering how many years you have spent living there?

I agree, it’s no fun being in the IDF.

It’s your job to harass the Palestinians, but somehow these people don’t understand, they take it personal and that really hurts your popularity with the locals.

Don’t they know they shouldn’t provoke you, by living in their land and trying to go to school and to their jobs and all the other activities these radical extremists insist on?

Hey archiebunker, when did you live in Palestine?

No, I did not…? How much acid are you on? And yes, unlike me. Just look at the last 4-5-6 threads lixy has been posting in lately.

He attaches links or quotes from others, hides behind those and if those are debunked he does the “well… you see… I don’t agree with EVERYTHING that writer says…” routine. lixy is a troll, so are you. Get over your false accusations and grow a pair.
