I agree, it’s no fun being in the IDF.
It’s your job to harass the Palestinians, but somehow these people don’t understand, they take it personal and that really hurts your popularity with the locals.
Don’t they know they shouldn’t provoke you, by living in their land and trying to go to school and to their jobs and all the other activities these radical extremists insist on?
Hey archiebunker, when did you live in Palestine?
“it’s your job to harass the palestinians”… and you expect to be taken seriously? when did YOU live in palestine? or… when did YOU live in israeli areas with suicide attacks…?
Right, going to work and going to school is exactly why israel uses checkpoints. It has nothing to do with hundreds of suicide attacks.
you are a troll, a bad lousy troll. Go back to the cave you came from.

You mean, unlike you? When you read his post about the attack on Mairead Maguire you responded by “you’re an anti-semite”. Didn’t you?

It seems you have limited understanding of the issue. I was there for 6 months.
You and lixy are a dream-team.
Fellows, fellows… Keep your shirts on, please. You’re probably bulking, and noone wants to see that fat dripping waist of yours.
I reported the story because it didn’t get any time on the US major networks. Heck, even in Europe the rare places where I heard it mentioned, were public channels. Now, just imagine for a second the impact such event would have had if the guys behind the guns were Iranians or Palestinians. I can bet money that it would have made front-pages.
When a Palestinian is abducted from his home and jailed indefinitely without as much as a trial, the best thing you can expect is a couple of lines on page 24. But when an Israeli soldier gets captured, well, you all know what happens then…Thousands dead, millions displaced and a country bombed into oblivion.
That was the point I had in mind when I posted the story.

So because you were in Israel for 6 months, that makes you an expert on the issue? What you did is like going to Beijing to understand the Tibet problem or dropping by Rabat to get acquainted with the Western Sahara conflict. Ludicrous.

If you don’t understand the distinction between antisemitism and anti-Zionism, then no, I don’t suppose it’s wrong at all.
I asked if he was, never stated it, there is a big diff. if you turn my words around then sure you can try and act like your something special and I’m some sort of retard, but when I ask a honest question you have nothing to say. What I’m saying here is don’t twist my words around Lixy new what I ment and answered my question. The fact you need to twist my words and bring something up like this just tells me your looking for an argument.

Oh, John, you give me way too much credit. I never twisted your words. They were twisted to start with. Here they are, just to refresh your memory:
What I want to know is why Lixy hates Jews, if Im not mistaken Lixy isn’t even arab so what’s his big beef with them?
don’t tell me its just because he’s muslim?
Tell me, John, in Lixy’s original post or in the article he referenced, was the religion of the IDF troops who attacked the woman even mentioned?
And for the record, John, I am not trying to make you look like a retard. However, it does seem like you are confusing anti-Semitism, which is the hatred of or prejudice toward Jews in and of themselves, with Anti-Zionism, which is antipathy toward or criticism of the sometimes heavy-handed practices used by Israel to establish and perpetuate its presence in Palestine.
In this and other threads, Lixy has criticized, or posted articles criticizing, Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories, its maltreatment of Palestinian refugees, its campaign in Lebanon, and other examples of heavy-handed Zionism. I have never read anything resembling hatred of or hostility toward Jews or Judaism in any of his posts.
Hitler was an anti-Semite. Einstein was an anti-Zionist. Judging by his posts, it seems that Lixy is more on the Einstein side than the Hitler side.

I clearly ask why lixy is demonizing Israel. There can be many reasons for that. Both ideological, personal and religious.

I didn’t answer because Chomsky’s alive and Varqanir’s Einstein is dead. I had Chomsky in mind, but didn’t wanna disrespect the legacy of a great man like Einstein by confirming your answer.
I hope you guys realise that alot of Swedes arnt left winged muslim loving commies.
Personally I got so fed up with Sweden always taking the pussy stance in every conflict that I used my dual citizenship, went over to the states and became a Marine infantryman.
I’m home on leave right now and it disgust me to see what people like lixy has done to this once great country.
They advocate letting more and more muslims in and crime levels are skyrocketing. Politicians who are against it immediatley get branded as racist. Which happend to the Swedish Democrats.
I think of the left winngers pop out because right now it’s cool to be a radical and most of the teachers and journalists in this country are commies so you always just hear a left winged twist on the stories.
The first news story I saw when I came home was about the french elections.
The right winged male candidate had an idiotic expression on his face and the left winged female candidate looked like a damn Angel in hers.
Since I’ve come home have endured dozens of degrading comments about my intellegence from left winngers who say “Nothing personal to you but you now you guys are brainwashed right?”
Some people have even tried insulting my friends who died or were wounded in Iraq and after I’m done with whoever threw the comment I’ll hear. “Typical american behavior, if they’re to stupid to debate they resort to violence.”
Sorry about the rant, I just get pissed off when I see where this country is heading because of these left winged pieces of shit.
P.S I had the name Jarhead before that shitty ass movie came out.

Your input would be very welcome to balance the debate. In what quality did you go to Gaza? And what struck the most on your visit to Gaza? Do share.
