"No Weights, Big Wheels" Rest for Max Reps?

In your latest article with leg training with no weight, how long of a rest period should you take between the sets of Max reps? Would it be okay to just do something like rest pause on the Swiss ball leg curls? Max reps rest 20 seconds and repeat that for 3 to 4 sets?

You can experiment here. You can do rest/pause or do normal rest times. I like to do both and just use some auto regulation. If I’m feeling good and motivation for the day is high then I might do rest/pause. If I’m feeling the volume then I will take that approach. It’s ok to mix it up and do both depending on where you’re “at” during the training session.
