Missed your last message, but wanted to wish you safe travels and hope to see some PI training real soon. Stay safe Harry.
Looks like you’re probably already in the PI. Hope the trip went well and looking forward to seeing some Pacific Ocean swimming posts.
Been in the PI a while now. Lots of swimming. Got nosed once by a White tip Reef shark. They don’t get too

big and it was just being nosy. Decided to put together a small back yard gym. Had a local welder make a very heavy duty adjustable bench, dip, pull down attachment for $125. Pave a little used area at the back of one of my properties. Bought all standard bars, 7’, 6’, 5’, ez curl bar. Bought, mainly from pawn shops, 4 x 50lbs, 4 x 20k, 2 x 10k, Collected a 12 DB handles and enough smaller plates to make sets of 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50lbs. The tarp over the bench is more to keep falling mangoes from hitting you when benching than the rain. Still a work in progress. More to come. Trying to get around to everyone’s posts.
Nice to have you back posting again.
Looks good!
And I, for one, appreciate the color coordination of the bench and the heavy bag!
Nice set up, and you’re literally swimming with sharks ![]()
And lifting with mangoes.
Nice set up. Swimming with sharks huh? I would have probably been walking on water after that. ![]()
The gym looks cool.
“Yeah, a shark bumped me while I was swimming. I decided not to kill it.”

Struggling with the Inclines. Been doing them on the smith for the last few years cause plain inclines are the only exercise still hurting my shoulder. A little pain, some tightness, but I’ll work through it. After 20 min on the bag I was trenched with sweat. During the whole work out went through 2 litres of water. Got to add another pulley to the t bar pole. With only one pulley the weights got swinging during the OH tris. Just another day in paradise.
Breakfast
Dinner
Cool ain’t the right word. Hot and humid.
Lots of small sharks and some big ones but worry more about the jellyfish. My nephews follow me in a boat and are always on the look out for the sharks.
These only get 5’ max. About 2 weeks ago a 4’ came by and 2 nephews dove in and killed it. Cooked it over a fire. Beer made it palatable.
I actually never noticed that until you mentioned it. The bag is old and about to be duct tape colored. Have to tell everyone it’s a fashion statement.
Is that a mango in the breakfast photo?
Papaya
Papayas are awesome.
Glad to see you posting. Very cool workout setup there. It reminds me of my days of traveling when I would use random objects in the hotel room and run circuits. Your setup is better. The swimming with sharks is definitely a noteworthy story too. Cool that your nephews have your back and manage to turn them into dinner.
Glad you are enjoying yourself. Keep up the good work!

Hour after lunch did a hill run. Estimated distance about 2k. Was soaked when I got finished. Feet were squishing in my running shoes. Showered, felt great.
