Nice easy workout. Had to pick up a few items at the after the workout. There’s a liqour store connected to the grocery store. As I was walking to the door I glanced over at the liqour store and there was a big sign advertising “Peanutbutter Whiskey”. There’s no hope. Society as we know it is doomed.

No you need to try it. Peanut butter whiskey is not my go to, but it’s pretty good. Mix it with some grape juice, and you have peanut butter and jelly.
Jeez. Seriously?
Yep. Good stuff.
I agree! I see that stuff and ask… WHY?
PB&J Whiskey?
Early. Dojo. Escrima sticks. Figured I better get back into it. Even did a few Arnis knife drills. Very rusty.
After. Natatorium. 45 min straight swim followed by a 2 mile run. Weather was just plain beautiful. Suspose to be 70f/21c tomorrow and wake up Saturday to 34f/1c. Trees are already budding so the freeze Friday night’s not going to do much good.
Nearly 80 today and dropping to 24 tomorrow night with 40mph winds and drizzle. Some of the trees are budding here too, gonna get nipped for sure.
We’re having complete spring but for pecan trees.

What machine are you using for the leg curls?
Not the greatest pix but this is it behind some other machiines. You lay flat on it. When I was “injured” in the rear hip it became painful to do leg curls so I basically gave them up for years. Went back to them years later, no pain, but certainly not my strongest lift.

Got about an inch of snow last night. It melted quick. Already changed the clocks, sippin some on Jameson’s Black Barrel. It were hard but resisted the urge for some Peanut Butter Whiskey (not). Smokin a Tatuaje Tattoo Bonito cigar, will probably have another. Watching Sharpe’s Rifle’s for the upteenth time. Generally don’t watch war movies but have all the Sharpe books and all the movies. Just love them. A Good day.
I’ve had a bottle of peanut butter whiskey, if you think of it as a peanut butter liqueur not a whiskey its surprisingly drinkable.
Add some cheap wine and you got a PBJ. ![]()
Youve just put me in the mood for Sharpe, haven’t watched it a while. Watched Das Boot last night, and Tora, Tora, Tora today. Some classic hammer horror tonight with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee…and a wee drop of something wet of course:)
Hows the form this weather?
Love Das Boot and Tora, Tora, Tora is one of the more accurate action film of the Pearl Harbor Attack. I’ve got a huge collection of Hammer. Grew up watching them. Sir Christopher is still my favorite Dracula. Weather has turned beautiful again.
I only found out recently Sir Christopher was a member of the SAS and was involved in operations in the second WW.
No no lol, i forget people dont use terms like we do here. “Hows the form this weather” means how are you feeling now?
Should have know it meant something different. My first military visit to England (not insinuating you’re English!) was to RAF Alconbury, bout 60 mile SE of London. We were on a break from briefings and one says, “Steppin out for a quick fag, Sarge”. First thing pops out my mouth is ", “how you bait your hook”. He says, “What”? Mutual explanations of expressions followed. Feeling better in general. today’s not really a great day in history for me but overall doing good. Thanks for asking.
