Hit the Natatorium for a 45 min swim. It’s closing until Monday. Got in a 2 mile run immediately after. Early tomorrow night do Christmas on the internet with the family in the Philippines, they’re 14 hours ahead, hopefully get in touch with number 2 son in Africa and number 1 son in Japan. Then Midnight Mass with the family. Our Mom will sleep most of the day cause she won’t miss it. Lots of family attending. Christmas noon big shendig at big brother’s house at noon. Suppose to be 75f/25c Christmas Day here so should be a good time. Getting ready to watch my favorite version of A Christmas Carol (1951, Alastair Sims) and sip some Jamesons. Hope everyone has a really good Christmas.

Did a couple of day deload, i.e. ate, drank and made merry. Great Christmas, spend a lot of time on messenger talking to relatives all over the world. My son in Africa even managed to get through to us. Made my wife’s day. Attended Midnight Mass with lots of the family, 4 pews worth, and had a great Christmas feast and big bro Remi’s spread. Woke up this morning, considered hitting the gym, downed about a litre of water, and as the song said “I just dropped in to see what condition, my condition was in”, and dove back in bed. Hope all had a happy, merry, safe and healthy Christmas.

Crappy weather all day. The tonado warning just end. Temp was 21c/70f today and suppose to be 24.5c/76f Saturday then Sunday a high of 7c/45f. That nice combo of warm and cool air will make for some more stormy weather. C’est la vie!

!.5 mile wooded run with vest and 1.5 mile road run. Followed with a 8 mile bike ride. Getting ready for New Years Eve festivities and the welcoming of 2022. As I was remind on one of my scifi pages, “Soylent Green took place in 2022” so every one eat up. Probably be back after after New Years so hope everyone has a great healthy, safety, and enjoyable one.

Thought about not hitting the gym but one of my silly superstitions got the better of me. Gotta start the New year the way you want the rest of the year to go. Start lazy, stay lazy. Didn’t roll into the gym til 3:00 PM though. Put on a pot of coffee in the office and went through half the pot and a litre of water. Ended up having an outstanding workout. Sitting here with the local news channel on watching the TStorm and tornado warnings roll by. One just ended and another starting in a 1/2 hr or so. Lots of rain right now. Hope all had a good first day of the new year.
