Spend a lot of time with the family in the PI early morning here while they were partying at midnight. They’re 14 hrs ahead. You must be 16 or 17 ahead of me.

I am 3 hours ahead of the Philippines so yes 17 hours from you on the US.

Probably one of the few times I’ve posted in the morning. Usually do it at the end of the day. Saturday was 76f/24.5c woke up this mornint 7"/17.75cm snow and 28f/-2.25c. Started snowing around 10pm last night. Roads are completely covered and as it rained before the snow iced underneath. Not above freezing today and 19f/-7.25c tonight. Lazy day. Already planning a glorious lunch.

That’s a real change in the weather, beats how changeable it is in the UK.

We didn’t get any snow, kind of bummed. My wife’s aunt and family in Alabama woke up and we’re all posting pics of snow this morning. I work up to a frozen porch but not much more.

Enjoy your snow day.

Between 87-90 I had to visit every US Air Base (most are on RAF bases) and many RAF bases in the UK on a training/teaching tour. Absolutely love the history, the people, the drink. Not so much the weather.

Tried a press amchine in the gym for the first time. Cables, weight stack. Seat is at a slight incline and seat heigth is adjustable. Didn’t like it. You can use too much leverage. Last set caught myself arching and turning it into an incline press. Tried it, won’t go back to it.

Machines can be iffy. Some just have bad leverage or weird movement or something.

Dojo - 1 hour kata, 2 poomse after, heavy bag - 20 minutes, Sai, Tonfa (rusty) 30 minutes. Nice session. Had the dojo all to myself cause the roads were iced over. Used a nephews Yamaha Grizzly ATV and took the back roads. Had to play around in the woods with it a little on the way home. Well, a little more than a little. Suppose to get above freezing tomorrow so hope the roads will clear up.

Sounds fun. Taking a 4 wheeler to the dojo. Would make for a good movie scene. :sunglasses:

Into a more healthy workout routine. Gave up running for a long time and and really slacked off on my martial arts. Got back to them both. The running came back pretty quick. When in the PI do a lot of MA with the relatives. No competitions in the foreseeable future so time to just be healthy.Think my max weight since I’ve been posting here was 235 and I’m staying around the 215 range now. If I was a lot younger and less injured would’ve loved to give crossfit a go.
