Just gave my roommate a split to get him started, let me know what you guys think. He wants to train 3 days a week, I gave him a 2-day whole body split and said to rotate which one he does every time he works out.
Day 1
Squat 5x5
Bench 5x5
Pullups/Chins (5 sets as many as possible)
Leg Curls 3x8
Day 2
Deads 5x5
OHP 5x5
Barbell Row 3x8
Dips 3x8
Curls 3x8 (he’s gonna do 'em anyway)
Told him to eat 1g/lb of protein per day and eat whatever else he wants for now… baby steps. And to add 5lbs/week to the bar on the main lifts until he can’t do all 25 reps.
Looks good! I’m going to switch to two full body days when I start Oly. Should be fun! And I still rock the 5x5. HAHA! I love it.

I lift in a few… Gold’s Gym (Capitol Hill and Van Ness locations), also I just joined Fitness First in Arlington (further away from me, but has oly platforms, bumper plates and a prowler).

I’m away at school, but when I’m there I usually lift in the Gold’s at Van Ness or the UDC weight room.

Nice, I’m usually there on Fridays for my deadlift workouts. I like using the GHR apparatus for deadlift assistance. Pretty close to my house.
