No $$$, No Gym, WTF?

I am currently in a foriegn country until the end of the year on an internship. I don’t know if you guys are aware of this or not but European internships, though worthwhile, don’t pay much. I have been working out consistently here doing the same thing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I do 3 sets of 40 - push ups and crunches. I can’t afford a gym membership and I am really missing the weights. I feel like I am not really getiing anywhere with these push ups and crunches and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on more excercises that are “cheap”. Thanks

Pullups/Chinups, 1 legged squats & dips are my suggestions.

What country are you in?

Find heavy shit outside, pick up, squat, carry etc… repeat. Or look for a farm that needs some help. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Put a big jug of water in a backpack and do pushups and dips between two chairs. Find a place where you can do pull/chin-ups, while wearing your weighted back pack.

Big, old tires are usually free and can make good training implements.

Try raising your feet up above your hands when you get yourself in position for your pushup. I suspect it will be much harder to get your 40 reps. The goal would be to do sets of handstand pushups with your feet high up on the wall or vertical. Do a search for body weight training articles by Christopher Sommer for other ideas.
