No Longer Training Legs?

OP

plz respond

Don’t stop training your legs, maybe do squats like once a fortnight or something, do non mass leg exercises like extension ect, you can get really ripped legs and not get much more size.

Never stop training legs. That the worse thing you could do.

I like how guys with 20 posts go apeshit on someone LOL

to the OP: there is no such thing as not training your legs and i dont care how your legs look. if you want to train upper body only go to men’s health forum with the other bench and curl see my facebook profile and jizz monkeys. this is a bodybuilding forum.

How so?
You’re username is “WantoBeHuge”. You’re contemplating discontinuing leg training. Quite a paradox.
Well considering my legs are quite big, my “wantobehuge” doesnt concern my legs. Shouldve made my name WanttoHaveHugeUpperBody. My apologies. Not really.

And for such a big talker your pics dont really back it up. Chubby with probably no legs and hardly any muscle. Well done.
Seriously? I mean, cmon… seriously?
Yea seriously, its easy to put down someone and look like you should be saying nothing
lolwut
Ill put it in simpler words for you. You are a dud. Do not give advice to anyone. If you cant answer the question then theres no point in putting a comment in
LOL
bro am I still a dud?
Nothings changed from 5 mins ago. Sorry to break it to you
how about now?
You seriously come across as a very insecure and gullible kid

Sorry mate actually had something else to do then stare at a forum and wait for someone to respond. Why are you still commenting?

Lol just cause you train with weights does not make you a bodybuilder. If you have competed and do compete, yes you are. 99% of people train to have a better physique, or lose weight or whatever. So although this is a “bodybuilding forum” that doesnt automatically mean everyone here must train legs, cause not eveyone is a bodybuilder. Im assuming your not either. So you should also stop talking

And there is such thing as not training your legs, its pretty easy. Even if i had chicken legs and didnt want to train legs why would i care if you or anyone says you have to or you should look at mens health. Cause someone on a website told me too? No…Obviously unless your seeking advice and they know more than you, thats why i asked if it will effect my upper body growth. If you actually care what other people say on the internet then you and anyone else talking shit on this thread is sad. Especially the guy posting his lifts on here. Like it makes him feel good about himself. How sad.

OP, you’ve gotten good advice. Don’t stop training your legs. They’re not disproportionately big. Rather than stop training them entirely, why not simply ramp up volume on upper body?

Or you can not listen to the posted responses to a question that you posed.

I have gotten good advice saying to lower volume on legs and thats what im choosing to do. I just enjoy giving people shit who talk to much when its unecessary and nothing to do with the question. Im doing fairly highish volume for upper body and legs atm so just going to lower legs day

you should tell Vic Richards he’s not a bodybuilder, because he never competed.

the fact is you are probably too lazy to train legs. stop wasting our time, if thats what you wanna do, why did you open this thread? go train your upper body that dosn’t match those monster 35" legs you posted. we are all really impressed.

Ive trained legs for nearly 3 or 4 years before i stopped doing splits. So no im not lazy. Obviously i have trained legs in the past. As for the decent sized legs pics. And he is actually NOT a bodybuilder. Cause a bodybuilder is someone who is on stage competing. Not doing it for a hobby. I have plenty of roided friends who could be bodybuilders but theyre not. Theyre just roiders. Why would i need to impress anyone? Unlike the idiot up top who posted vids of him squatting LOL.

I didnt say i had huge legs either. I said my upper body is LACKING. You dumb jackass.

If you’re already training your upper body with high volume and it isn’t growing, you’re probably overtraining and limiting your gains. Sounds like you could benefit from lowering the volume or frequency of your upper body sessions. Might be worth a try, could very well help your upper body catch up to those thick quads.

lol wut is this

My upper body is growing thats why i wanted them to be in proportion. Because i started split training again few months ago but with already decent sized legs but a skinny upper body. Hence why im wondering if i can not train legs and catch the upper body up

Oh ok I see what you mean bro… you said your upper body is “lacking” rather than “lagging” so it sounded like you were seeing no gains rather than slow gains.

You should definitely stop training legs then. I hear Arnold did that for awhile before his upper body got huge.

Is that sarcasm? lol, cant tell. I think i might just lower the volume. But does not training them actually slow down upper body growth?

Your legs are not only small as fuck, but also carry too much fat.

Start hitting them hard, its annoying to have cunts like you and trap builder on this site constantly trolling when they have physiques of 15 year old jews.

Ever heard of a squat? or the leg press? start doing them you cunt. If you think your legs are big i would probably piss myself seeing your upper body, I bet you struggle doing bodyweight squats.

btw you are a retard go troll BB.com

I’ll let you be the judge of how serious my other two posts were. Still not convinced that this thread isn’t weaktrolling.

Here are some rhetorical questions for you:

 1. Where in this thread did anyone seriously recommend reducing lower body volume?

 2. What did the BBer who actually competes (ebomb) suggest?

 3. Do ‘lower body lifts’ like squats and deadlifts also develop the core and other upper body muscles?

I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

He said to increase upper body volume. Because im already doing decent volume for upper and lower body im just going to lower legs volume which is the same thing. Yeah but i do deadlifts on back day. Squats increase core not so much upper body strength like deadlifts
