On a related note, I saw this guy and had to laugh.
No way he could lock his legs to secure a triangle choke.
I know he’s a bodybuilder and not a fighter, but still… funny… yes?
(Just to clarify for the slow, my panties aren’t in a bunch about this at all. It’s just a kinda lame pot-shot at a guy who’s apparently very good at what he does, even though he doesn’t measure up to standards being applied to him for zero reason.)
I heard a radio interview with him and he seems like a really cool guy. the shark bite thing would be hilarious!

his upper body is big?
For an undefeated (9-0) pro fighter, who’s 6’4" and has to weigh-in at a lean 205, yes, it is.
LOL
NO, its not.
6’4 205 is not big. idc how lean it is. thats like me being a ‘lean’ 165, just cause you have abs doesnt make you ‘big’.
and what does his fight record have to do with his weight? why did you even bring that up.
i dont care if he could beat me up, he’s still small.
Come on dude…and who gives a shit if he’s “small” if he’s a pro fighter. And a damn good one at that for being only 21yrs old. That is the point being made. And even with this “small” bullshit…he’s 6’4" and 205…that’s not small…and its not huge. Doesn’t even factor in having to make weight to fight. He might be 220+ when not fighting.
But anyways, the point is…there is no fucking point. He’s a 205lb fighter that tosses other 205lb men around. He’s not a bodybuilder or a model. This shouldn’t even be a discussion. Just ridiculous.

look at most boxers and they have skinny legs. Your legs carry a lot of your bodyweight therefore if you are competing in an event where you have to make weight then you are likely to have underdeveloped legs compared to your upper body especially if your training involves lots of aerobic excercise.

Right on the money $$$ You always have to put into account he weighs at least 220-230 +lbs when not at fight weight. 6"4 pro fighter around that weight is nothing to scoff at…

He’s probably around 6’4 215 in the pic there. Anyway, his nick is “Bones” for a reason. I don’t really think it’s anything amazing that merits a thread, but w/ever.
