No Effects from Energy Drinks

Energy drinks/fast twitch/ no xplode do nothing for me. Is it possible to be immune to caffine?, I took 2 scoops of fast twitch once and it still didn’t do anything. I didn’t want to try too much because too much caffine in one go is real bad for you.

Have you tried Spike Shooter? If not I suggest you try it before writing all energy drinks off. It’s a whole other ball game with this drink. Most of the other energy type drinks are really nothing more then soda pops (sugar content) with a little caffeine and some aminos acids and vitamins thrown in.

D

Try some better supplements. But sure, stimulants hit everyone differently.

Maybe you’re metabolizing the caffeine differently. When you take something with caffeine do you still feel lethargic or low energy afterwords? Is there absolutely no effect?

Then it’s time to try Turkish Coffee. I’ve only done this once but it was badass. Take Turkish Coffee and some grape juice with creatine mixed in the grape juice. 2 different cups.

Clear Shot. Wowee. I’ve pimped this stuff in these forums before (sorry, Biotest) but I challenge anyone who tries it to fault me for doing so.

I’ve noticed if I drink red bulls I feel lathargic afterwards(sugar free).
With fast twitch, no xplode and shock therapy/storm I feel nothing. I workout 6:15am and I’ve been trying this stuff for a boost because I’m so tired, any other suggestions? Shall I try Spike?

Thanks

I also have a very high tolerance to stimulants. I personally write it off to years of virtual non-stop ephedra use. Spike does absolutely nothing for me, though I admit I’ve never tried the Spike Shooters.

The only supplement I get any kind of effect from is VPX Redline. The 5 ml liquid, not the pills, not the rtd (though I’ve tried neither).

After my ephedra experience, I cycle off of it for a couple weeks after about a month of use.

Dude…I usually have no response to energy drinks either…but let me tell you…Spike Shooter + Spike pill in the morning on an empty stomach has actually turned me into a morning person (I used to despise the mornings). It’s a great combo. Try it out.

Wow… Spike Shooter + Spike Capsule seems insane to me. You must have really not been a morning person.

LOL.

For me, my tolerance varies from day to day. Sometimes a can of Spike Shooter will get me really revved up, sometimes I need 2 for the same effect. HRX has been giving me a nice boost lately, so I’m using that instead.

LOL. For sure. I actually just woke up and took some. I went from tired and cranky to absolutely jacked up and hyper in a matter of minutes. Though I admit it feels like a wee bit too much today. I feel like one of those crazy Animaniacs characters running around right now.

So yeah…if anyone’s sensitive to caffeine…DO NOT do my recommendation. In that case just a can of Spike Shooter should be sufficient.

Spike and 6oz of grapefruit juice kicks butt.

Grapefruit has actually been known to enhance the effects of some medications, so much so that many supplements incorporate the active ingredient in grapefruit into their supps to enhance their effects, perhaps this is whats going on here?

I started off with a half can of Spike Shooter and that was almost too much for me a while ago. Now I can down a full can and it feels great, no too much, not too little.

Maybe if you are tired in the morning you need to go to sleep earlier.

I get around 9-9 1/2 hours a night as long as the little one doesnt wakeup. I’ve been working out in the morning for about 6 months now, I don’t think I’m getting use to it. I use to workout at 4pm but changed jobs.

Would takeing some B complex help any, I hear its good for energy, I workout about 30-45minutes after waking, would that be enough time for it to kick in any?

Do you feel like your sleep is quality? 9 hours may be form bedtime to waking, but if you are interrupted at the wrong time for an hour, that may throw you off. I have a little one on the way myself, I’ll have to figure this out.

I used to train early, and the first thing i did was popped some BCAA’s, Rez-V, and HOT-ROX. Went pee. Drank protein shake and carbs (malto powder is cheap, banana). Started warming up at home, stretching, bodyweight squats, push ups, etc. 30 mins later I felt fine. Did some warm up sets and trained. Instead of a post workout shake i would just come home and eat breakfast (oats, meat, eggs). then eat another breakfast two hours later.

Do you regularly drink coffee? You might have built up a tolerance for caffeine.

I tried Spike and it rocked me.

Spike Shooter (1 can, drank straight through) does nothing for me, empty stomach or full. I doubt the Spike pill would be any different.

However, I would like to experiment with stimulants in general, and want to begin with 1 reg Spike and 1 Caffeine-Free Spike tab, to see the effects.

Sorry, guys, Spike is a stim like everything else, and hence it is possible to not respond to it.

Sucks to be guys like us…

Instead of just taking more stims, you might be better served by going off them completely for a couple weeks.
