lol Recently the YMCA that I go to put up a “No Cell Phones Allowed” sign. Even though they don’t need it because I rarely see people on cell phones anyway. Anybody else’s gym has this sign?
Unfortunately my gym does not have this sign.
no, i did notice that at the Y when i was lifting there. my gym has a sign that says “failure to re-rack weights will result in membership termination”
like theyre fuckin serious about that shit. i remember i was going back and forth between antagonist exercises so id leave my DB’s around and some dickface kept putting them back.
Mine does. Two reasons. One is for privacy and the second is for safety. I think safety here equals ‘shut up and lift’.

i keep my cell phone on for duty days besides that there is no need for it to be there
I use my cell phone to keep track of time for my PR zones in EDT.
Sadly,I’ve observed why this is needed…the guy who’s bench pressing and talking on his cell phone…yeah,I know.
I workout at a YMCA and I think this only applies for the change rooms. They’re afraid of dudes taking pictures naked of each other. Ha!
