i beat tyson like 2-3 months ago. after 1st 1 1/2 min he doesn’t throw dynamite punches anymore and you can clobber him with combos. i gotta admit though, i played that fuckin game to no end when i was little, and that was the first time i beat it. i’ve beat it 2-3 times since
I loved beating the hell out of Tyson on Mike Tyson’s Punch-out. But the first time I fought him was just plain ugly.
My favorites were: (in no particular order) Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers, Donkey kong, Excite Bike, Metroid, Zelda and Kung Fu.
In related news, I actually went to my parents house & hunted down my old NES. I don’t have any controllers or or cables to hook it up but I’m gonna get them. And as soon as I do, I’m quiting my job & dropping out of college to devote all my time to playing NES.
Does anyone remember the codes to metroid? One was Justin Bailey and it would start you with max energy containers (note, not max energy, just empty energy containers), and the two insignificant bosses already destroyed. You also would start near the Mother Brian’s lair without you armor, just wearing some spandex like stuff.

More weights, less nintendo. Never played it myself, but I believe that is the proper spelling. Oh, add, “more reading/spelling” to your list.
I think they should make more regular Nintendo’s, I would rather play that then all the new systems, I mean some of the new games are fun, but there is something about the Nintendo, it’s so simple and yet so entertaining.
