NHS Test Result 7, 53 Years Old

Had my test checked nhs said it was ok my result was 7 normal is between 6 and 28 was thinking about trt my self what’s best test to take thanks

Under the NHS guidelines you qualify for TRT <12 nmol/L, even over this value a trial of TRT is warranted, but doctors seems scared of TRT/steroids do to all the conflicting info about TRT being associated with prostate cancer, heart attacks and strokes.

Your levels are normal alright, for an old man with one foot in the grave, your doctor never compare your age to your testosterone levels.

Here’s a small sample of the population and where they measure up.

  • 25-34 years of age 45 subjects 617 ng/dL
  • 35-44 years 22 subjects of age 669 ng/dL
  • 45-54 years of age 23 subjects 606 ng/dL
  • 55-64 years of age 43 subjects 562 ng/dL
  • 65- 74 years of age 47 subjects 524 ng/dL
  • 75-84 years of age 48 subjects 471 ng/dL
  • 85-100 years of age 21 subjects 376 ng/dL

You don’t even come close to the 85-100 year old men, 7 nmol/L when converted to ng/dL is 201 ng/dL! You should be proper monitored if you are thinking about TRT, the Men’s Health Clinic or Balance My Hormones can help with that.
