Funny about Flacco telling Boldin to stick to his guns with regards to his contract, when he is probably the main reason Boldin got traded, and Boldin one of the main reasons why he got paid bookoo bucks
Boldin is a great player, but he didn’t produce anything special while here, with the acception of this past post season and a few huge games here and there. I wish he could have stayed though, he’s a great blocker and demands coverage. It’ll be interesting to see if Jones steps up and how Smith will continue to progress.

Definitely rooting for M Wallace to justify his payday/make the jump to legit WR1 status.
Dude clearly outperformed his rookie contract, never did get rewarded by management (while Antonio Brown did) and when its finally his time to earn, then he’s the selfish, me-first guy. Go figure.

Wallace can create some fireworks but he’s mentally weak. So is Mendenhall. I trust Antonio Brown to make the big catch far more than Wallace.

Wallace was the same guy a year ago, and I was saying the same things about him a year ago. This past season just solidified it in my mind. He had several key drops this year that cost Pittsburgh wins and ultimately a playoff spot and chance at a 7th ring. He clearly did not want to be in Pittsburgh this year and it showed in his lack of effort. I don’t know how you can put that kind of performance on tape and then still get paid like a perennial All-Pro.
So yeah, I think the Dolphins are retarded for giving a guy that has ALWAYS come up small when it counts that kind of money.

So far the Favens have lost the entire middle of their defense outside of NT.
This can’t be good for them.
But don’t worry, Flacco is making sweet, sweet Eagle Muppet Money.

I’m not concerned. Ozzy always works it out in the end. Also they’ve been to the playoffs 5 straight years, they can’t keep it up forever. Maybe this is a rebuilding year.
Also remember T-Sizzle should be healthy all year, same with Webb and Smith. The big loss is Elerby & Pollard imo. The only plus is Pollard gets a lot of personal foul penalties for his hard as hell hits.
Pats are cheap fucking pricks.
They let Welker walk for 2 year 12m?
Got to be fucking with me.
This makes me happy
Unless that means that they are going after Cruz even with a 1st round tender
I have no idea how to feel with Welker going to the Denver Mannings and the Pats getting Amendola
FUUUUCK Amendola. What’s the point of picking him up when you could’ve had Wes Welker for 2million more.
Hopefully they sign Gennings, asomugha, reed, talib, volmer
Cruz for a 1 is a waste. They need to spend that on D’line or if they can get db out of the draft.
Beans-I’m even surprised at the Broncos offer. I thought Welker was going to get atleast 21mil guaranteed.
Maybe Welker wanted to go to a team that had a better chance of winning the Super Bowl. I really like their WRs with Demaryius Thomas to stretch the field and Welker and Decker undernearth. I’m sure they are going to smash my team.

Chargers have a ton of work to fix AJ’s fuck ups

They do. I don’t see Rivers doing very well again because of an absence of a decent O-line. I know the Chargers will draft a few guys, but it will take those guys a couple of years to start making an impact. I just thought the new GM would pick up at least one good FA O-lineman, but I don’t think he will.
I’m excited about the Martellus Bennett pick-up for the Bears. Finally a TE who can actually not make a douche of himself on the field. He could be a top fantasy player this year… same goes for Reggie Bush on the Lions.
Not sure sure about the Jermon Bushrod (left tackel) pick. In hindsight it’s nice not having to spend so much $ for Jake Long. He’s better than Webb regardless, although we overpaid him.
Also I just realized Bears have two Bennett’s that will be catching passes, lol. Martellus and Earl.

They’re still going to suck cock and have one of the biggest douchebags in all of North American professional sports playing QB for them, though.

Seagulls traded their first-round pick for Percy Harvin. Niners responded by getting Anquan Boldin for a sixth-round pick. Also, the rumor mill is indicating that the Niners are interested in Ed Reed and CB Sean Smith from Miami once free agency hits.
I love the Boldin trade. Not so sure how I feel about the possibility of Reed or Smith coming to the City by the Bay. Reed is not the player he once was and I suspect that he’ll be overpaid. Smith is intriguing but he struggles against fast receivers, which could be problematic when they face Seattle’s fast receivers in Golden Tate and Percy Harvin. He also is probably going to cost anywhere between 6 and 8 million a year, which I think is a bit steep for a player who is still inconsistent after four years in the league.
Thoughts?
I like giving Russell Wilson more weapons, but a first round pick is always tough to swallow, and it looks like he is going to be very, very expensive.
What do you think from a Niner’s perspective? I think it makes the Hawks better.
I’m pretty pissed off at teh Pats right now. There had to be bad blood between Wes & Bill.
This is retarded.
They better pick up a lock down CB soon, and then draft OL or this team is FUBAR. (Still win the division but only because the other 3 teams blow/are rebuilding)
Denver: “We know the Manning window is closing, lets stock up and try to win”
Pats: “Brady is going to play forever, so fuck it, lets cheap out, we’ll find another Brady in round 7 next year.”

Beans, do you really think Welker is that big of a loss? It’s not like he was putting up monster numbers coming out of MIA. Part of his success was having Brady as a QB. I think they can find another underneath guy to plug in there who can do the job because Brady is there.
It’s the same thing in Indy when they had all those receiver injuries and Manning kept trucking along with the backups. It’s not that they were great backups, they just looked a lot better with a great QB who placed the ball on the numbers by the time they were out of their routes.

My major issue is health. Welker missed like 3 total games in 5 years. Everyone else on the team, outside Slater, is a bum or has been hurt
HErnandez: ankle problems, and aligator arms over the middle since the 9er game
Gronk: arm is apprently made of balsa wood and will break anywhere outside a nightclub
Edelman: when not grabbing waitress’ asses his foot is now a ?
Lloyd: who the hell knows what his problem is
Armendolomola: has played like 6 games the last 3 years, lol
eh… Maybe I’m being too pesimistic, but I feel like the two dudes who were the grounds crew in major league movie.

haha. Should be interesting nonetheless with the ‘new offense’.
